We were initially worried after some negative comments on Trip Advisor about the food and the hotel, but when we arrived we were amazed, it was fantastic. The food was really good and the staff could not do enough for us, they treated us like royalty. The hotel is very clean and has a fantastic view. Although it is abit out of the way from Nama Bay etc, its a great location if you just want to relax and also great to get to Cairo or Jordan as the hotel is very close by. We had no problems what so ever with the security situation in the area. We even went to Cairo for the day, it was amazing and no problems what so ever. Loved it.

Don't believe any of the negative comments about this hotel.
We got back on Saturday 11th March and we really didn't want to come home.
Rooms were big, bright and extremely clean.
Chef and waiters couldn't do enough to please. Cooked anything we asked for. We had a vegetarian in our group and he had special meals prepared for him as they asked what we wanted at the previous meal.
Staff were not at all pushy and could not do enough for us - we were truly treated like VIP's.
We've been to Egypt before and had "Egyptian" tummy - but not this time which was an added bonus.
We will be going here again as it was FANTASTIC !!

Hotel room was awful! Brown water and old decor .... Looked scruffy. Cleaner was male and always asking for tips! Food terrible.... Got food poisoning on 2nd day! Ruined holiday. Hotel has a pharmacy and half of hotel in there asking for diarrhoea tablets! Beach nice however. Entertainment terrible!!!! Inclusive rate seemed good but then drink selection was poor. Would not recommend this hotel. Get one nearer the centre so you can go out and about and not be stranded!!!!

I have been in this - what called 4 stars resort - from 26 to 30 August 2010 with a travel agent in Fayoum and Cairo ( Mohsen Travel) .... Firstly when we entered the hotel we had a very bad impression from the poor reception and past group opinion who complained about the bad food that made us very angry and talk to the manger to cancel our reservation .... but they ask us to try by ourselves and judge .... we stayed and honestly they treat us kindly trying to satisfy us espicially Mr Ismail and Ali in the restaurant and Ramy on the pool's bar , they all were very kind except the man responsible for towels who called Talat, he was very aggressive and impolite with both Egyptians and Foreigners
Finally after we finished vacancy on return we had about 7 cases of vomiting 3 of them ( a man, a young woman and 4 years Child ) was so severe that they had to entered the nearest hospital ( Abu Redes Hospital) and had their intense treatment ..... we are waiting for the results of laboratory till now

I advice any one prepare to go to this hotel to think again and choose any one except it
