Stayed at the cleopatra hotel for a new year get away with a friend of mine, and payed £740 for 2 weeks AC, The hotel was not very clean at all, and i was ill from the hotel food after the first day, lets not even go there regarding the toilet brush, I'm a down to earth guy with no hang up's however, my advice to anyone choose a different hotel.

Best:Exellent staff treating me with respect and listening for my special needs.
Very good breakfast and dinner buffe´.
Clean room with enoug space for me and a balcony with some wiew over the pool.
If you have bad legs and knees, this is not for you. Many stairs all over the place. Anyhow the area at all has wery high sidewalks.
(If you don´t mind some pain just go here anyway! It´s worth it.)

“Reasonable given the price but not the Ritz!”

We were seeking winter sun at a reasonable cost and this is what Sharm El Sheikh offered. The selection of the Cleopatra was based on these two objectives. Firstly its important to highlight that the cost for the all inclusive package was competitive at this hotel. The positives: the staff were friendly and polite, in fact id go so far to say the actual service was pretty good (both in the room cleaning, restaurant and bar staff), as was the rep service from Thomas Cook. The pool was clean and the food reasonable given that we hadn't paid for Jamie Oliver. The negatives; the room although ok (clean) was clearly in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathroom (falling apart). The hotel at these prices attracts a younger crowd (cost conscious) who like to party, and as such at times you could hear them coming in (loudly) in the early hours (3 nights out of 7), although we didn't complain we heard others at the reception doing so. Location was good, and all major attractions in easy reach by taxi (competitive rates). All in all i wouldn't stay here again, but will say for the price paid it was ok.

I've been to this hotel twice, and yeah it may not be the cleanised of places, but then egypt isn't to be fair! However i first stayed here in march, i thought the hotel was going to be rubbish. But i was shocked, the staff are great. You get a selection of foods and your rooms are big, with hot water, clean bed sheets every two days and air conditioning. I stayed here with my family in march and came back with the family and boyfriend in october. The entertainment is good, akhmed does water aerobics, volley ball during the day in the pool and at night you have dancers, bingo in which my boyfriend won a bottle of vodka! and many more things. Radi the head chef is amazing and funny. He loved us, he makes me laugh when you say bloody egyptian to him when he winds you up he will reply bloody english. Heesham is also very lovely and tries his very best to sort problems out for you and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! Over all i love this place and have become very good friends with all the staff, even went to the beach p-arty with akhmed the entertianer! Would for sure go back there, i always enjoy my stay because the staff make it enjoyable. And every day when i returned to my room, the cleaners also made a surprise for me on my bed out of towles, it started of with a elephant, then a swan, then a human just laying on the bed then a big crocidile on the floor. They are great, the hotle is great so yeah iit isn't also about how clean the hotel is, because it is satisfactory! And have never seen any insects except outsdei where they belong. and before i forget they also offer the best ever spa treatment! Massage, nail treatment, foot treatment etc. and beaches are in reaching distance as well as fantasier and old market.
