“Cant wait to get back!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

My Daughter and I stayed here 2nd - 9th Dec for a week. The weather was great even though it was chilly at night which is understandable for December!!!

The hotel was lovely, everywhere was clean. The food was always nice as was the italian ala cart. The main resturant was buffet and also there were chefs cooking pasta on request and a chef was also outside cooking something on the bbq each night so there was plenty of choice. Salads and fruit were always fresh. Breakfast always had alot of choice and the lovely chef, Yehia would cook eggs (bearda) and omlettes on request and also did a lovely spagetti toss hahahaha!!! also Mohammed who also took care of us, thank you. There was a queuing system at peak times in the main resturant although some chose to ignore it , we never waited very long thanks to Shaban nd the lady whose name i have forgotten, sorry.

We spent most days by the chillax pool where we were served cold flanels and sqirted with icecold water by Mohammed the poolman which was rather refreshing and so was the pool as it was not heated and was freezing! There were other pools and they wasn't all as cold , there was never a shortage of sunbeds.

Every member of staff was always friendly and there to help especially shady in reception, not dodgy but slim !!!! The staff in the cafe Shalat 24 hour bar were great, special thanks, George and Mohammed who kept the chipsys flowing.

we did go on a boat trip for the day which was fantastic, snorkeling was good and the thought of swiming in the Sea in December is great when you know how cold it is back home!!!

We did go into Nama bay for a few nights out and got there in the hotel taxi which cost about £4 each way and you knew who was going to pick you up which was nice. Went to the famous Camel Bar and also the Bar50 which has karoke and its a good night if you fancy a dance for a change. We ate out at Hard rock cafe and went to TGI on another night. We did get alot of hassle in the main strip but we just said no thanks politely and carried on walking having a few laughs on the way with the Egyptians.

Just to say our room was kept lovely, fresh beds and lots of towel art!!

Overall, we had such a lovely time we have just booked to go back in April!!! Hope this review gets us another lovely room!!!

Diane & Jody :D

“Wonderful Resort with Amazing Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Stayed for a 5 night short break with a friend from 26th - 31st Jan. Lovely hotel, welcoming and extremely helpful staff. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view room and were taken to see 3 different rooms for us to chose. It was well worth the extra to get the larger sea view room. The room and bathroom were spotless and like many other people have mentioned, some of the furniture ect is a little tired but the beds were very comfortable.
We tried out all of the relaxing areas and had no problems getting a sunbed either by the pools or down at the beach. Again, all of the areas were spotlessly clean and the staff at the various bars were very polite and helpful.
We were on an all inclusive package which was amazing value for money and even managed 2 a la carte meals as the hotel was not completely full. The food was plentiful and there was a very good choice. The cocktails were good and we found we could drink a fair few of them as the various Eyptian vodka, gin, rum ect were not that strong. We also sampled the red, white and rose wines which were pretty good.
All in all a great get away, for very little money, extremely good value.
The only one downside was Naama bay, we decided to take the shuttle bus there one evening to have a look around. Not a good idea for 2 ladies without our husbands and both blonde! We were hassled beyond belief and took refuge in a bar which was full of Brits until out shuttle bus arrived to take us back to the hotel. I would also add that there were a large amount of Russians/Eastern Europeans at the hotel who we found to be rude and arrogant, their attitude to the staff was just awful.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether, couple, family or friends. Special thanks to Shaby on Reception, Ramez, Raul and too many others that made our stay so great

Room Tip: Upgrade to a Sea View wonderful to watch the sun rise and set and all the diving boats.

“Noisy resort, unhelpful reception staff”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We stayed at the Hilton Waterfalls Resort for one night, hoping to spoil ourselves on the last night of our holiday.

At the check-in, there was a long queue, and the counter for HHonors members was not even staffed. When it was finally our turn, we asked explicitely for a quiet room, away from entertainment and animation areas.

When we arrived at the room, we found that it was directly overlooking the pool area (with music and animation). We phoned reception and asked for another room, and we mentioned specifically the rooms with 3000s numbers, which are on the other side, away from the pool area.

After waiting for some time, we were given a new room, and it was - believe it or not - AGAIN overlooking the pool area, just one row further back.

When we phoned reception again, they did not respond in a professional and polite manner, and we overheard them saying rudely to each other "she does not like this one either" ...

After waiting again, we were given another room, which was still in the same area, but at least far enough from the pool area so that the noise was only slightly audible in the background.

We figured out that the quiet rooms on the other side - which we had been asking for - are standard rooms, and since we had already paid for a Deluxe room, the hotel probably did not want to give us a room on the other side, as they would have had to refund the difference in price ...

We were quite happy with the room, and hoped to enjoy the rest of our stay ...

Unfortunately, when we came home at night after a nice dinner in town, we discovered that our room was next to the amphitheatre, where a show with loud music was taking place that you could hear even with all windows closed.

As our experience with the reception was not exactly pleasant and as we were tired and did not feel like moving rooms again, we just put up with the noise and decided never to visit this resort again.

Room Tip: - Book a standard room, see the room before you pay, and upgrade only if necessary (most rooms have...

Dear "Jochen S",

We were regretful to learn that your perception of our resort did not comply with the image of a five-star hotel. The entire team of the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls team put a lot of effort to maintain the highest standards of service and to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for.

I would like to thank you for you for taking the time to study and describe the resort's structure in details. Rooms in building 11/12 and 21/22 are overlooking the main pool area and also have sea view. Blocks with numeration 13/14 and 23/24 are situated up the hill on the "second level" and approximately 100 m distant from the main pool & beach area, where our animation activities take place daily between 11:30 and 12:30.

Mentioned 30 and 40 blocks are located at the north-eastern part of the property, away from the pools and features mostly standard rooms with garden views. Evening shows are scheduled according to daily changing program between 22:00 and 22:45.

As a front office manager I was concern to read your remarks regarding your arrival experience. We are sorry that provided room did not match your personal preferences. We put a lot of efforts to accommodate each guest request and to let our valued guest feel most relaxed and cared for. Particular room type availability always depends on occupancy level on the date and time of arrival.

We will continue with full power and motivation to strive for excellence - hopefully, you will notice a difference during your next stay. I hope we will have a pleasure to welcoming you back to our resort. Please contact our pre-arrival vacation planning team even before your arrival, to help us arrange for your holiday (room allocation, any other request).

Best regards,
Taha Hussein

“Such an amazing holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

I apologise in advance for the very late review. We stayed here July 2011. The holiday from start to finish was fanatstic! Beautiful welcome from our transfer in to the hotel, greeted with cocktails and treated like royalty (felt like this alot on this holiday) Shown to our room (we didn't upgrade and weren't asked to so didn't bother) room was very spacious and lovely ground floor, down by the beach, a bit of a walk to restaurants but it is such a big complex it's just one of those things. The hotel has a lift whats runs from the beach right up to the lobby/restaurants so that is great, such a bonus. We arrived late at night after evening meal but were shown to a bar what was still serving food. All restaurants were great, food was always hot, fresh and lots of choice. Me and hubby had a try of everything. All waiters and waitresses were so polite and couldn't do enough for you. Restaurants had themes too which was a nice change if you were there longer than a week (we were there for 10 nights) You can also book the three other restaurants at reception. We tried these and they were fab. The shish (if i remember right) was nice, you sat on the floor but we found it very hot so we literally ate our meal and went back in to the lobby bar. Coffees in the lobby bar are lovely too. Beach was amazing and you can go snorkelling of the jetty, so many fish it is out of this world. We didn't sunbathe by the beach because we found it too hot at the time of year we went. We went to the adults only pool at the top of the hotel, lovely and relaxing, you have to get there early though to get a sun bed. It was my birthday whilst i was there, my hubby emailed them to let them know and they did not forget. I had a cake delivered to my room which was lovely and such a good touch. Room service is available but at a extra cost, still really cheap and lovely food. We went on one trip, the quad bikes sunrise, you are up mega early but worth the experience definatley! Think it was about £20 each, there was no one else with us so it was like a private tour. On my birthday night we payed extra and had a meal on the beach private, lit by cande light, own personal waiter and superb menu. All amazing, just wished we had booked it a bit earlier so it wasnt too dark. Taxi it to Naama Bay but make sure you agree a price before you get in, we went a few times and one time the taxi driver agreed the price then half way back to are hotel he started to say a different amount, we just told him no, handed him the note and got out (thankfully at our hotel and not on the side road) There is entertainment at the hotel but didn't really see any as we were often in the bar/restaurant/Naama Bay. Activities in the day too. Also spa treatments, a man comes around the pool and talks to you, this wasn't a problem he was very friendly.
I hope i have shared enough information with you for you to want to go to this hotel, it truely is such a nice hotel and i would love to go back. If i ever revisited Egypt i would definatley not go to any other hotel than this one. Thanks Kelly.

We rested at the hotel from January 29 to February 5
Overall - very pleased. The area, service, facilities, staff are excellent!
The program, honestly says, not very intense, but perhaps this is due to the fact that it was not popular time for restening in egypt. also there were few turists. But despite of it, we want to say that the animators are great! Always friendly, responsive, smiling, very sociable!
Thanks! They tried to do everything to make us happy and pleasant.Good luck for Albina, Anny, Yana, Airat, DJ Kash))
