“FANTASIC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We stayed here in Sept 2011 for 2 wks, what a fantasic stay the 4 of us had. After reading a lot of the reviews I was very worried, but on arriving at the hotel the first impression was fantasic !!! Booked in very quickly, cases were taken straight to our rooms which were right next door to each other, bell boy did not expect a tip but we tipped him anyway for his fantasic directions and explaning where everything was for use during our stay. This is an honest opinion and hope this helps put peoples mind at rest before they stay at this hotel.

* Rooms were very big and spacious, with pool and sea views. Bedding and towels changed every day, mini fridge restocked with water and soft drinks of your choice. Cleaner asked if we required anything else every day we saw him, which was a nice touch.

* Resturants were very big, lots of choices and I am a very fussy eater and I never went without !! There are some lovely places to choose from like Mexican,Asian and more, these are extra but well worth a visit. The waiting staff here work very hard and clear up as soon as your plate is empty.

* Bars were lovely also, staff made sure your glass was never empty, always remembered your drink and your names, but we did have a real good laugh with them also.

* Pools were fantasic,we stayed around the main pool area in the complex, yes they do play loud music, but this was not a problem for us. The blue slide here was fantasic entertainment for everyone we met due to the water on the way down used to wet the people sat by here,or the staff walking past !!!! You do get a little pestering here for spa treatments etc but if you just tell them no and if you were to change your mind you would contact them yourself, then this was fine.

* Entertainment Staff, Sam and all the guys work vey hard to make sure everyone gets involved with the daily pool games, darts, etc. In the evenings they go to a lot of effort and time to put on shows, but the best show of all was "Michael Jackson" this was amazing.

* Beach is lovely also, yes it does have lots of steps down to it,but it is well worth it due to the lovely views and the beautiful fish life at your feet. You don't have to get in the water to see the fish, you can just walk along the jetty like we did.

* Tour Rep was amazing,we travelled with Thomas Cook and Tracey was very informative,we booked many trips and were treated like we were "Royals".

All in all we had a fantasic 2 week stay here and would definately return here or to Dreams Vacation Resort which is next door as you get to use both complex's.

“Good Hotel, but nothing to do in quiet season”

This hotel was lovley and i think in peek times would be a brilliant place to stay but we went 01/01/2012 and the place was dead. They were not putting on the entertainment (day time and evening) daily as the description of the hotel stated and the 1 evening they did put on evening entertainment it had a lot to be desired, the young men done a circus sort of thing but looked nervous about what they were doing making everyone really uncomftable watching so we spent most nights in naama bay(about £3 in a blue cab each way). The pools were freezing and the 1 pool which was heated was at the bottom of the cliff so the sun has gone from it by 2.30pm, so not great. But dont get me wrong it was a nice hotel its just i have stayed in better in sharm previously. The only other thing we found was this hotel was full of russian people who were very rude and seemed to like starting arguments with everyone, i only saw a hadful of english people, but maybe in the summer it would be different. The rooms were fine and the food was good, but the "love boat" resturant that overlooks the sea was closed for the whold 2 weeks we was there and most of the other resturants on site you have to pay extra for.

“better than expected”

i was not impressed with reports i had preveiously read about this hotel. but on arriving the reception staff were pleasant and helpful. the rooms were excellent, clean, spacious. all the staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. the food was above average and as there were 5 people for our trip we all found something to eat and it was edible. the best restaurnat we visited was the asian located at dreams vacation, this was chargeable but the food was brilliant. there is a little pestering at the sunbeds for spa treatments and hotel restauarants but they were polite when you told them no. they did ask everday but they weren't unpleasant. there are shops to visit and within walking distance and there is little hassle with these shop assistants. overall our hotel was better than expected and would definatly return.

“Wasnt as bad as i had expected after reading peoples reviews!!”

Me and my husband stayed at Dreams beach for 2weeks. When we arrived we checked in quick and easy and then had our suitcases taken to our room by the bell boy (who didnt expect a tip but gave him one any way).
We were pleased to see that the room was clean and tidied yes a bit dated but it is a huge hotel and dont expect them to redocortae every year saying that though, our room did have a new lick of paint to it. We were on the ground floor that looked onto the pool and was quitere than i expected. Every day the cleaners came and waited till we were out to start and did a really good job making sure it was clean and that the fridge was full of water, coke and sprite, if needed. The cleaner even asked if we were ok every time we saw him which was nice.
The main resturant that we ate in was the L'Opera. We found it to be clean and had a variety of food including a live grilling station in the conservatory where you could have pasta, grilled meat or chips. The meat changed everynight but was the same for the second week. Some of the food was served the same every day but this is the type of all inclusive food you get on any holiday. The waitors in here were very friendly, funny and couldnt help you enough. They also done theme nights where they would decorate the resturant to match and even the waitors dressed up too.
The pool bar, ate here a few times but did get repetitive as it served mainly pizza, chips and chicken. It did have a few birds flying around too.
The other place we ate was at the 'Asia House' the food and service here was amazing and they both could not be faulted. You did have to pay for the food here but it worked out about the same as what you would pay back in England and your drinks are included. The decoration of the resturant was really nice and passed my expectations. If we had of had the money we would of ate here every night lol.
The pools - Not the best place for peace and quiet as there were lots of sale people going round asking you to buy trips or go to the spa's but a poliet no a few times as they soon left you a no. I think as it was not many people at the hotel they seemed to go round quiekly and just want to chat most the time. As we went in january so the pools were freezing but most the time if we wanted to go swimming we would go to the heated pool or go down on the beach and into the sea. If you are going to go into the sea just be careful on the jetties as they are very slippery and it is very easy to fall but defo worth going into as its so clear and there is always lots of fish swimming about around you.
The entertainment i have to say was very poor!! The most work they ever done was trying to get you to watch the shows on a night time ( which werent great) but they were nice enough to talk to and friendly especially nemo :).
The 24 hour bar is in the lobby and i have to say the staff here are so nice. We had a really good laugh with them and this is were we spent most our nights. There is a really lovely water feature in the middle and a pianoist that was there nearly every night and made the atmosphere relaxing. I do have to warn you that if you dont smoke you wont like it much as it can get smokey.
We did venture out to namma bay which was an interesting night out but we did get harrased more than i thought so would only reccomend if you go in groups. We went to little budda and hard rock cafe. Was a really good night out and defo go again if went back. If you go out the hotel and turn left we found a few shops that sold a variety of gifts and the didnt get hasseld once by the workers, but the taxis did trying to get a fare just ignore them and keep walking.
If you have the will power to get up early one morning we went down at ^am and sat in the bediun tent and watched the sun rise. It was an amazing morning and was really romantic watching the sun rise up from the sea.
The rep from thomas cook was a joke, she was 19 and didnt have a clue. I am putting in a complaint about her but this has nothing to do with the hotel.
Overall i enjoyed this holiday and would go back just to see the staff :)

Lovely complex, actually stayed in the Dreams Vacation next door. Weather was great 25-26c all week, which is brilliant for Winter getaway (January)
Entertainment could be greatly improved, one night they did "Lord of the Dance"....Egyptians trying to Irish dance...frankly, very embarassing.
Food was okayish, had to complain a few times until we saw some improvement.
"Beach" areas dont catch much sun around January time so we spent most of days at the Beduin Tent as has sun all day.
2 jettys along the coral - with a huge drop at the end, if your not a fan of the sea like myself, staying on the jetty is perfect with fish swimming all around.
i think we counted 5 pools in the complex, the excursion workers bother you all day wherever you are, even if your asleep they wake you up to see if you want to go on a boat or bikes etc
