“Idyllic location”

Just back from a week at the Inerotel Lido which we booked purely on trip advisor recommendation, we were not disappointed. This small boutique hotel is imaginatively designed like a cruise ship with a top deck complete with heated pool. Our room although simply decorated was quiet and had fantastic view of the sea from the large balcony. Bed was comfortable, plasma tv had many channels including sport (so hubby happy), shower was good, with plenty of hot water. We chose the bed and breakfast option which was excellent, we ate out each night at different restaurants in the town, all within only a 5 - 10 mins walk. The staff at the hotel soon got to know us and were really helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Tamer for ensuring that we got such a lovely located room complete with cake and fruit bowl to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and also to Mohammed for decorating our room, The towel creations were amazing. the beach area is lovely and snorkelling very good here, we booked a boat trip and also quad biking via Mario on our beach at very good prices. It was a lovely relaxing week away and we hope to return to the Lido in the near future.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from town are quieter.

Just arrived back from Sharm El Sheikh stayed at the Lido for the first time, we will be back next years guys....
Everything has been said before, but the size of the hotel gives it a massive advantage over the village type - Tamar and his staff make you feel so welcome. The rooms are clean with big beds and good size bathrooms. The hotel area is unique and really well designed, with a lovely restaurant providing fresh food which is exceptionally displayed - I loved the salads made fresh and cleverly presented. The puddings were just as good - difficult to say no to. The main courses were different every day with bbq's grills pastas pizzas and variety of stews and fish over the week, thankyou to the kitchen staff x I cannot leave out the waiters who are so nice and friendly making every meal time a fun occasion. The pool is the oasis in this hotel - perfect, warm, clean - thanks to Makrem the pool attendant who saves you a bed where you are comfortable making sure no stroppy Russians take your spot x Anwr the pool bar attendant is unique - he is the epitomy of the perfect bar attendant x thankyou is not enough xxx If you want a neat peaceful holiday with a tranquil atmosphere and friendly staff do not go anywhere else Lido is perfect. Please pass on our thankyou Tamar to all your staff. From Karen and Steve with love.

“Small is beautiful”

I stayed with my partner for a week from 26th Jan 2012. We booked the Lido hotel on the reccommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The hotel has only 70 rooms so it feels intimate compared to the huge complexes. The staff were polite and friendly, the pool area has lovely sea views and is peaceful with lots of room and no shortage of service from the pool staff. The private beach is equally as nice. We saw lots of colourful fish within 20 metres of the shore so there really was no need to take a boat trip. We had the bed and breakfast option eating our evening meals in local restaurants. Tam Tam middle eastern restaurant, the chinese restaurant and the Aberdeen restaurant located along the walkway by the beach were all good as was the Lebanese restaurant in the Naama Bay shopping precinct.

“FANTASTIC HOTEL, 4TH VISIT & DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Just back from another fabulous week in the Lido (Jan 19th -26th). We have never been to a hotel 4 times, but this hotel is like a magnet and always maintaining the same excellent standards of cleanliness, service and friendliness and all with the very best location in Naama Bay.
From the very genuine GM, Mr Tamer right through, the staff really are a credit to the hotel and are always so helpful and pleasant, whether you are a first time or returning guests, the standard of service is exactly the same. A really small, quiet and intimate hotel with only about 70 rooms so staff get to know you and what you like very quickly, making the holiday so personal.
There is a small private beach with plenty of sunbeds, with the ever helpful Soudy always ensuring you have sunbeds exactly where you want to lie, also his knowledge of the marine life in the Bay is incredible. There is also the decking area where sunbeds are placed during the day and becomes the beautiful On Deck Restaurant by night. Unfortunately while we were there the weather was unusually cold at night, so never got to eat here, but hope to make up for that in the summer.
There are patio heaters scattered around the restaurants and bar areas, which came in very handy.
A heated Pool is on the roof and has amazing views by day and night time views of the lights over the whole of Naama Bay.
The hotel is situated right at the far end of Naama Bay, with a five minute walk into the centre, making the holiday as relaxing or as hectic as you like.
Rooms are kept spotlessly clean with daily changes of sheets and towels and some fantastic towel art. For Hubbys birthday bed was done with elephant, and birthday cake made of towels, flowers everywhere and was a lovely touch to the day.
Food is varied and excellent, dinner is different theme every night with about 6 different choices and also a fresh pasta and pizza station, breakfast and lunch also has plenty of choice with amazing views overlooking the port and the boats sailing in and out.
Snorkelling excellent especially behind the decking, and a short stroll to some amazing reefs all around the bay.
While there, we realised we left the camera charger at home and wanted to film an octopus that was in on the hotel rock, Hassan went up to the town, shopped around for price (he was even willing to go into the Old Town for a cheaper one) and brought a charger back for us, so thanks to Hassan, we got some amazing photos and video. You don’t get this kind of service everywhere.
No hard sell on tours and massage, they are available just not pushed on you.
No animation team = no children = Heaven LOL.
A big Thank You to all the staff and looking forward t returning again.

Room Tip: Bay view rooms have beautiful views.

“Just gets better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We have stayed at the Lido 4 times now, each time it gets better. The views are first class. The bay & the Red Sea. the pool on the top deck is awesome. The cost of meals is reasonable, but it is only a short stroll in to Namma bay with a vast array of restaurants. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. the beach attached to the hotel is unusual for Sharm as in that you can walk into the sea from the beach. most hotels in Sharm you have to walk down a floating pontoon and straight into deep water. So this is a blessing. the snorkeling is good. if you are a Scuba diver like me them i would recommend the Red Sea College dive center 500 yards along the beach. also the dive boats leave from the jetty only 25 yards away. The perfect hotel in a perfect location. many thanks for a brilliant holiday
