“Eden Village Tamra Beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

English version :

Today I am talking about this resort offered by Eden Viaggi. I was there with my girlfriend in July 2011.It's a village located directly on the beach of Nabq opposite the famous Tiran Island, a snorkeling paradise. Eden Village Tamra Beach is located 7 km from the international airport of Sharm and about 20 km from the center of Naama Bay. It's composed by small buildings of two floors, located between lush gardens and swimming pools. The overall village is very large, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are eaten in one restaurant. The staff also organize some themed dinners ... the quality of food is decent despite being assured the Italian cuisine, and the variety of dishes is no so big. Most of the times they offer always the same food (chicken, chicken, chicken). About the staff ... it's always very kind and available. The rooms are very spacious and well cleaned, with small garden or balcony, double bed, big bathroom with box shower and bath, and naturally with air conditioned. Instead I can't accept the cleaning of the pools done during the morning and in a very slow way.The village has a two bars : one on the pool and one on the beach ... soft drinks are for free (water, local beer, cola, fanta, sprite) but the quality is no so excellent being offered only by the dispensers (except beer). Sometimes the taste is different from the drink in the cans and the drinks are without bubbles. It's a very nice the idea to offer, every day, the pizza's slices on the beach, before the lunch. The animation staff tries to do his best, organizing sports tournaments and evening shows. For sure they are not able to entertain foreign customers because they speak just italian. If you like pools more then sea, the resort has 4 pools ( two large and two small, one in front of the sea) ... even if during my stay just 3 pools were working (1 large and 2 small). The beach has sand, but you need shoes if you wanna take a bath since the hotel is on to the reef, so either you are satisfied to take a bath in 50 cm of water between the rocks of the barrier (sincerely it's very uncomfortable) or you have to cross the pier and jump over the barrier, of course equipped with mask and fins, to appreciate the seascape. Over the pier the sea is cooler and if you really want enjoy the seascape, being a snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiast and expert, I recommend diving tours in other places or in specific marine reserves. Sometimes the area is ventilated, so it is more risky to take a bath over the pier for the beginners. The resort presents some physical obstacles so it's not advisable for people with handicap. The resort is 15 minutes from Naama Bay. In the night if you want to move in some other places you can use the Resort taxi paid service or you can deal with the taxi drivers outside the village to get some discount. At the end I can say that even if the resort has 4 stars, if you really want something special high-level , you have to choose a different Resort.

this was our first experience of stay at this hotel. before we used to stay in Sharm Club hotel, what also belong to the network EGYPTIAN VACATION CLUB. first of all what was really very strange that we booked the trip and got the confirmation for the hotel Sharm Club in December 2011. than, 3 days before departure, we have been informed by our local operator that Sharm Club hotel was closed and can be replaced by Tamra Beach.
The hotel by itself is good, the service is fine. but, on the contrary to the Sharm Club Hotel the location and beaches are NOT SO GOOD FOR SNORKELING, THE BEACH IS VERY SHORT AND SMALL. there are very NOISY because of airport what is located very close and you hear each the plane landing and taking off. the rooms by itself are not so good for design and not so comfortable as in Sharm Club. The hotels are not equal for the place of location, but for the level of service and personnel - Tamra Beach is better.

“Wonderful!!!”

Went to Egypt from the Latvian by Tez Tour.
Tamra Beach arriving in November. The hotel is fantastic, rooms spacious and comfortable, perfectly clean. Surface area planted and carefully tended and clean. Lots of flowers and ornamental plants.
The hotel is based on resting Italian family. All references and information are Italian, unfortunately, this language does not manage, so it was problematic from us. I would like that information is also available in English. Animation is' only Italian. Daughter attended the Mini Club, but animator was very unresponsive, to find a contact with children do not always have to know the language - enough to smile.
The kitchen was good, food quality and tasty. Did not like that restaurant wine was often cast plastic glasses, it does not comply with this category of hotel!
Since I am the wine lover, would have preferred that it is also available at the bar.
Staff very helpful and diligent, a special thank you to the hotel manager of care and responsiveness.
This hotel will be happy to return and recommend to friends for quiet, peaceful and konfortablai a break!

“Wonderful Vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2010

We traveled to Sharm, and Tamra Beach, with Pyramidene Reiser from Oslo. The trip was very well organized and professionally managed. Pyramidene Reise staff people were friendly, courteous, and very well informed.

Tamra Beach Resort itself was a joy. We had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the staff was unfailingly professional. Best of all, the location is great, 100 meters from the beach to the reef, where the snorkeling was excellent. Oh, and the weather was also fabulous...sunny and 25C every day.

Our two boys, seven and ten years old, also had a great time. They were either swimming or snorkeling for an entire week. They always found something they liked at the meals (no easy task), and the staff never tired of answering endless questions from them.

All in all, this resort and travel company get our highest recommendation.

“Lion Resorts love It”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2008

After my stay at Capital Coast in Cyprus i was offered to go to Egypt with Lion Resorts . It was really a offer that was to good to turn down. The accomadation was amazing alot better then we both were expecting. The bad thing was the XL Airways went bust and we had to ask the Staff at Lion Resorts to help which they did, But we had to cut the holiday short by 2 days. I will go back and as a diver the diving was great. The Grounds to the Tamra Beach was good lovely green well maintained and the resort seemed to have a lot off Italians but that did not stop us having a good time
