Kathy and I have just had 2 enjoyable weeks at the Jaz Mirabel Park, chose to eat in the Cactus restaurant which was very nice, with plenty of choice, our table waiters made sure we had the same table for breakfast and dinner each day, at lunch times we usually ate at one of the pool bars, mostly the Ginger bar, where the waiter Ramsey, made sure we were well looked after. Our room was spacious, clean and got the sun all day long, the bathroom area was large, with a walk in shower with drying space. The pools were well maintained one heated and one not, which was very cold, but once you were in, was great to swim in. Only bad thing for us was the fact you could not use the Jaz Mirabel Beach to drink in during the evening, you could use the Beach bar and one other outside bar there in the day time, but at night when they were shut, you could not go into the hotel and get a drink unless you covered your wrist bands up which we did.
The only other negative comment I can make was that on check out at 12 noon after we had changed and put our cases out, the receptionist said don’t you want to keep you room until 15.00. No one had told us we could keep the room for an extra 3 hours at no extra charge. That was poor.
But all in all it was a good holiday and met some nice people, the cleaners, barmen and waiters were all great, one other reviewer said they were just after tips, well we’ve been to hotels all over the world and I have never met a waiter or cleaner yet who didn’t want a tip, but I do think these guys at the Mirabel Park we happy to serve and chat to you, and yes they were after a tip
