Firts things first :)
Pay your visa entry in Stirling its the cheapest way.
Dont buy Egyptian pounds in England you get a better exchange over there and you can buy anything you want in our currency anyway :)
The holiday whether your in the Azur Club or Azur Royal are all inclusive and you can visit either,
You can eat in either
Drink in either
Watch the entertainment in either
Use either swimming pools. If you are not happy with what is on the menu at your hotel then just walk 200 yards and visit the other and no one will question you, there are no arm bands.
Dont worry about being met by You travel who handle the transfers they are there at the airport and are very organised.
The service at the hotel is second to none Ahmed Ezzaldien a young waiter who keeps the lounge area clean looked after us very well and can speak good English, I told him I would mention his name here.
WHATS FREE?
Everything in your mini bar which is fizzy botlled and water.
If you need some cows milk for your tea making ( they supply powder ) ask the barman and he will be happy to give you some.
Table tennis, Pool
Safe deposit is in reception ( yes FREE )
Even the peddlar boats are free.
There are other attractions on the beach which you will pay for but not sun beds, these are free everywhere.
One thing I did not like; there are camel and horse rides on the beach and the animals look like they are not fed properly so I did not ride them and I told the arab guy why I would not, so if you feel the same as me please tell him so.
The beach is great, very flat, safe swimming but it can be windy so they have wind breaks.
One thing you must know....... The beach restaurant is on the beach and open so there are lots of birds, if you get your food and put it on the table, then go for your drinks your food will be swarmed by them so get your drinks first :)
Ice cream is available at this restaurant all afternoon at no extra charge.
The only thing I dont know about this place is the air/con, it is managed by the hotel which I have always found to be poor but I do not know if this place is the same as others.
We were met by Mohamed Tokky the Thomas Cooke Rep, he is very helpful and we did the trip tp Luxor with him which was an eye opener and very well organised.
Any questions I am happy to help, just email me.....lesnicholls@blueyonder.co.uk please put ( holiday ) in the subject as I usually delete most emails that dont have something I recognise :)
Good luck
