Not really a 5 star hotel. Service a good and staff, for the most part were courteous. Rooms were clean and well made up. Beware the shower water is heavily chlorinated, but I guss that's the same for that area in general.
Food was not great. Mostly cold although other alternatives to eat are available around the resort with a reduction of 5 euros per person, or 20 euros all in, except drinks if your not all inclusive.
Beach is not so close, you have to navigate through a maze of buildings, although It's not off putting.
Paid cash mostly for bars and outside food. Had issues at the end with anomalies in the end room bill. Spent 15 minutes whilst the front desk attempted to locate the strage figure.
There was a bus of Swiss, German and French waiting so you can imagine to looks when boarding the bus late. It was inefficient nit to produce the proof on demand, and when they did, it was for something that was overcharged.
Having no time, we left. At the airport, aside from basically having to pay someone to use the bathroom, our name was called. The hotel called the gate to say we had taken the signature invoice for the room charge. The gate security was rude and we felt the eyes on us as we went through our hand luggage. The guy at the front desk would have to pay if we could not find it.
Funny that the cash was taken from the card anyways. Seemed like a ruse and the embarrassment was so much that we have decided never to return to Egypt again.
Ps. Beware arrival to hurghada airport. Corruption squared. Paid x 3 for the visa or couldn't enter. On Christmas day too.
No equality for women at the hotel, the manager is female, 2 on the animation team, then XY all the way!
