Save yourself money and a headache, and book some where else!

We had made a reservation a couple months ago for 5 nights through hotels.com and provided full payment online. Upon arrival to Waves we were treated like second class, as we are not Egyptian nor do we speak Arabic. We were told they had no reservation for us and that he would speak to the manager by 8am. By 9am we still had heard nothing, so we asked again at the counter. This was apparently a pain for them, and after conversing told us that they have the reservation and we could check in at one. Ten til one they again tell us that there is NO reservation and that they also never received payment. The manager dials a number on his phone so we can provide our payment info. Not knowing who this number was for, we called hotels.com and after an hour or so were refunded our money.

Perhaps they never did get our reservation, or it could have been lost, but why lie to us and wait 5 hours later to tell us they need payment again.

Hotel is dizaster and naithmer. Jas dont go there. Staf is terubal, and serves alsol. Rooms are aglii and verii verii dearti. Locacion is ok. Bache is nat nice and thera are not inaf sanbeds and thauuers for everi gest.

Well it is dated back to the 80s and so is the towels and linen chewing gum white, Aircon is well conned as it might work after 3 days complaints. Food not bad but the rooms are depressing and sort of spoilt my trip. Staff are friendly but not to annoyed about fixing things, Sun beds in bad state of repair as they might work if you have time to check them all.Safe box is a cupboard with a wooden door on it with a lock out of pound stretcher. Good central location friendly staff and no english guest due to these conditions.

My boyfriend and I went to Hurghada,Waves resort hotel,on august 3.2008.At first we got terrible room with damaged AC,dirty bedclothes and bathroom,so we asked for better room and we got it.The beach was ok,pools also ok.My boyfriend could not eat hotel food,except pancakes and eggs for breakfast,but I could.I am satisfied with this hotel and I think you can not find better for that price.
