I like the place very much ..
my visit was on nov. 2008 the weather was really great ..
i enjoy my stay alot ..

Hotel is very nice, good restaurants, very clean, many activities.
Problems are with the rooms:
- old fernitures
- old bathrooms
- noice from the corridor!!!!!!!!!! very difficult too sleep!!!

We travelled with our 3 children aged 8,11 and 15 and spent 2 weeks at this hotel over the Christmas period. The hotel was 50% occupied and this meant that the sunbeds and resturant tables were always available. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were accomodated in a 2 storey duplex appartment, this was well furnished with Plasma tv's in both the master suite upstairs and the childrens room downstairs. the safe is free and there is a fridge uptairs and downstairs. Both bathrooms had showers and a hairdryer with soap and showergel dispensers.
there are 6 resturants and between them there is a good variety of food on offer, but all resturants seem to serve very similar food so by the end of the holiday this does seem rather samey, however it is all of a good quality. They also cater well for chidren with freshly made pizza, fries and sausages so even the fussiest child can find something they like.

Do avoid the ice in the alocholic drinks, my husband and I got an upset tummy towards the end of our trip and put this down to the ice in which they only put in alcoholic drinks and our children were fine and this was the only different thing we had.

I think in the height of season when the hotel is full it may struggle to provide the same service that we received and think this is why many of the reviews are from unsatisfied visitors.

I live in Ottawa, Canada. In the past, I travelled all over the world, including U.S., Europe, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Australia, and Asia, and stayed at most luxurious places. However, the Beach Albatros Hotel in Hurghada remains my favourite. This is my fifth stay at the hotel in the last few years. The hotel has everything a traveller is looking for and more. It is a large and very pleasant place, with a beautiful beach, several swimming pools of all sizes and shapes, gardens, and giant waterslides. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the staffs are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a short taxi ride from the thriving city of Hurghada. It has its own large private beach on the Red Sea. Most of the rooms have a clear sea view and are within a very short distance of the beach and main building. In every visit, I notice enhancements to the hotel, including newer restaurants, improved buildings, grounds, and additional entertainment venues. The hotel is always lively and full of tourists, and offers lots of activities to keep guests entertained and engaged.

The staffs are very welcoming, friendly, and eager to help in every way then can. And that includes all managers and staff at all levels. Special thanks are due to General Manager Mr. Hosam Shehata, Rooms Division Manager Mr. Wael Saeed, and Front Office Manager Mr. Islam El-Khashab for their personal welcome and greeting, and for ensuring that we are indeed experiencing a very pleasant vacation.

I opted for the All Inclusive package. It included all three meals, but also unlimited snacks and drinks. This is another key advantage of this hotel. The meals are served simultaneously buffet-style in five adjacent ethnic restaurants. Guests are free to wander and use any/all restaurants as they please. All of the restaurants offer excellent food with lots of varieties, which change daily. And they all located right next to the beach, offering a beautiful view with in-door/outdoor seating options. Speciality coffee is also included, and offered all day in multiple places including the grand hotel lobby.

The hotel offers tons of activities for all ages, including sports, nightly entertainment, games, and Internet access.

In summary, this is an outstanding Hotel with excellent staff and service in a most beautiful nocation.
