Well where do I start..... We arrived on New Years Eve afternoon after a good flight and transfer. If I were to be very picky with this Hotel it would be where the reception was located and was not sign posted at all from the main gate. You would expect it to be at the front of the Hotel and not in the middle of the resort, I have to laugh as it may have just been myself and my partner who thought this lol. We as a nation think we celebrate the New Year in style well Im sorry to say that EGYPT know how to welcome in the New Year and certainly know how to party. A banquet fit for the queen, champagne, red & white wine along with bottled mixers all on the tables along with party bags for everyone of any age to have fun with. All branded drinks and stella were at the bars, so knowone missed out. We were seated on a table consisting of 6 Russians, 2 Estonians, 2 Ukrainians and us two brits, well all I can say is THANKYOU TO ALF LEILA WA LEILA management and staff for making us 10 fantastic friends for life I hope. Yes the language barrier was difficult at first but what an experience and time we had with these excellent people. We see in 5 New Years in one night and by far for me an experience that will live with me for the rest of my life. I may add that we never actually see in the British New Year !!! Red caviar and pink champagne from russia was an unexpected pleasure and can assure you that it is as good as they say it is FANTASTIC !!!
The Hotel had everything it said it had and one added bonus the 1001 Nights ampitheatre which had the most fantastic displays of arabian horses performing stunts, a water & light show that was an added bonus. It has La Casa italian restuarant, l'asiatique oriental restuarant, the tagine morrocan restuarant as well as the main buffet restaurant. What ever it says it has I can assure you it does, Saraya disco bar, tamraya cafe bar, jazz bar, as well as the pool bars all scattered around. For all inclusive in this 4* complex alcohol is served from 10am til midnight in most of the bars and a bonus is in the Saraya bar served til 2am. Food virtually 24 hours and nothing is too much trouble. A bottle of red wine every night and a beer were served as soon as we we seated so the attention is second to none. The Pools were fantastic and were heated. The rooms were out of this world cannot find fault with anything and the cleaners worked very hard to please you and make sure your rooms were spotless. One point to mention is that this Hotel is predominantly German and Russian and we totally enjoyed it the experience was amazing.
The entertainment was fantastic throughout our stay of 14 nights and pure relaxation and attention is what we got :-) we can strongly reccomend this Hotel !!!!!
Room Tip: Room 461 has it all even a four poster sun bed !
