So far we have 4 visits to Egypt, this is the worst hotel where we were. Service catastrophic. Personāls rude that can not be worse. This hotel is a hotel with 2 stars, not 4 stars.
For all your objects to the room, and even repair of air conditioners (at +42 C, after two days) personnel expect a tip.
After the guests arrived home from Egypt, even more seats in the restaurant was not so for a place at the table had to bribe someone from the staff, not enough glasses, plates, spoons and tasting the food ...
Food was ok, but you worth it if you sit for lunch on the terrace in the sun and +42 C.
lobby bar worked until 00:00 pm and if you come to the hotel after that you can not get a drink. Disastrous in every respect.
Basically this is the worst hotel in which we were ever and if you want your vacation goes into relaxing and enjoying FROM THIS HOTEL get as far away port.

We were 17-27 august 2011.
Unfortunately it was a horrible holiday. There were 85% Russian people, who had attitude not normal. They are really hick. The service was very bad. The beer was hot, the wine was hot (when I could get), the restaurant is little, we could not find a free table, or it was very difficult. We could not find bread the last half hour in opening time.
And a very important regulation: One person, two glasses!!!
Why?
I paid all inclusive service, but it was not AI. I could not carry some drink to my family. Unbeleive!
The panorama of our room was beautyfull, but our room was little and not nice.
So, I tell you: DO NOT GO THERE!!!

We stayed for a week in Hurghada, and we had such high expectations, from which almost all came true. The place is absolutely amazing, after having given a nice tip we had a beautiful, well-located room quite far away from the entertainment section. So after a tiring day (visiting Luxor, quad trip etc.) we had a nice sleep until these unpolite Russian youngsters came to the neighbouring room in 4 am. and began to shout AS HELL. Unfortunately life was not a dream with these eastern cave people, who did not even know how to thank you or make an excuse. Akward.
However, The Red Sea was fabulous, snorkelling is strongly recommended.
Few words about the food: monoton without any taste, but the service and the kindness of the Egyptian staff was heartwarming.
All in all, if you don't like to cope with the absolutely rude attitude of those russians, PLEASE DO NOT GO.

I've been to many countries and hotels before. But this hotel is perfect for family vacation. The best in the hotel is staff - friendly, smiling, always ready to help, almost all of them speak English quite good. I liked that in this hotel you have a choise where to swim: sandy lagoon beach with daily entertainment and quiet coral open sea beach with pure blue water - wonderful view. Rooms are not bad, anyway I came to enjoy the sea and weather,not to seat in the room - I can do it at home!So if you want to spend nice vacation beside amazing Red Sea, Palacio is for you!!!
