The all inclusive deal was very good value. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, the food was good and plentiful and the showers were always hot. What more could one want.

Lovely holiday. In my opinion a 3+ star. Something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit. Food varied. Take your own spirits. Tip but only what you can afford and only after good service not before.
Take Euro's and £'s. Exchange rates much better in hotel (+10% on what you would get in UK).

We came here after reading many reviews and taking a pinch of salt with most of them. This is a really good value for money Hotel to visit.
Check in was fast and had no problems. All staff members were helpful, smiley and frendly. You can see the difference when they were being spoken/shouted at by other Nationalities.Tipping isn't necessary but a little goes a long way
The room was spotless and cleaned every day, towels were changed every day and the towel art always brought a smile to my face. Fridge was restocked with bottled water daily.
Only two english channels on the TV, but who goes on holiday to stay indoors.
The pool and pool area was always clean and pool guys were there to help. Witnessed one incident where a guest wasnt following pool guidelines and eventually security was called to remove her, heads up to the lifeguard who is only there to maintain pool safety !! Sometimes it could be irritating when you are pestered to buy trips/massages etc, but a firm no thanks is ok.
Food in the restaurants, Breakfast was mainly continental with hot egg station (boiled, fried & omelette). Hot fresh pancakes and hot fresh donuts. Wow !!
Tried all the restaurants at lunchtime. Main one was normal food, stewed meat/curry rice potatoes etc. Pool was Pizza - which was absolutely yumm, chips, salad and buffet. Beach was burgers, chips, salad, kofte, hot dogs, and fajitas styley meat. Was hard to choose which one to go to.
Evening food. The main restaurant food was good, same style as lunchtime. Went to the oriental restaurant, which actually serves Egyptian food, no need to book. This was really good, can reccommend the Um Ali ( sorta bread an butter pudding) Kofta and marinated bbq chicken. Also went to the Aladdin hotel, the food here was good, but the atmosphere was non existant and staff not interested. The Ali Baba hotel however, the food was excellent, staff helpful and efficient and the evening entertainment good.
Also during the day morning/afternoon tea was in the main lobby, yes I also had this, yumm.
Drinks. The rose wine was fine to drink also the rum. The other half said the lager was ok. Soft drinks you helped yourselves to from the machine and there were water coolers at all the bars. Coffee machines and fruit/herbal teas available all day to help yourselves.
There is a money exchange and atm on site.
All in all had a really good relaxing holiday. Can highly recommend.

Room Tip: Room 805 was fab. Standard garden view.

“First time in Egypt - good xx”

We went here in December 2010 and had a great time. Really enjoyed it thought it was a lovely place very picturesque and great value for money.

We went to Sharm this year and I would say the weather was warmer in Hurghada although it was very windy in the evenings and quite cold definitely need a jacket or jeans.

Food is very same old same old but what do you expect when your away unless you pay thousands of pounds. Always find something to eat.

Only drawback here was a lot of Russians and they can be quite rude and push in other than that we loved it and would definitely return.

Staff are friendly and disco was great outside in the large tent area.

Also summer months are probably better as you dont get so much sun - gets dark at 5pm like at home so not so much to do in the evenings - we watched a lot of movies in the room.
