Very nice resort, proper services of the kind hotel personel. No effort was too much. We had half board and must say that the quality of the food surprised us, because it was of very good qualtity and very very tasty, which we had not expected. A must for anyone seeking some sun in februari/march. We had a very nice deluxe room in cluster 7 with large bathroom overviewing the pool, the laguna and part of the red sea. Not so good was the gym room and we found the hotel to be expensive if you wanted to rent tenniscourt and tennisrackets. Would we go back? Absolutely!!

our room in cluster seven was first class, cleaned every day, clean linen every day, looking out onto one of the lagoons, the beach, although man made, was cleaned and raked every day, no trouble getting a sunbed, and all of them had a windbreak, the weather isnt the best we have had in egypt but still hotter than england!!!!!!!! the food is typically egyptian, but after being to egypt 8 times the quality was better than i have had previously, we were b and b, and we did eat in the evening in the complex a few times, its twice the price of downtown el gouna, but theres more choice, and as much as you want, like everywhere in the world you get a couple of staff that could be a little more helpfull, but that was usually at breakfast when you were trying to get a cup of tea, on the whole it was a lovely complex and i would go back

This was our 4th visit to the Moevenpick and we were not disappointed with a thing! The staff are so good here, nothing is any trouble at all, we specially want to mention the 'Oasis' team who excelled at service with a smile and could not be faulted, thank you. We had a superior room and a lagoon view, on all inclusive package, just heaven, two weeks of sheer indulgence and sunshine. We are already planning our next trip.

I have stayed in el gouna many times but this was my first stay at the movenpick,i must say i was very impressed, the staff on the reception were very efficient especially walid and ayman.
The room we were given was in cluster one and was very comfortable and modern, again the housekeeping staff were very efficient,we spent most off our time at the lagoon pool because this time of the year it is less windy than the oasis and spa pools,it was here where i saw the movenpick staff at their BEST.The lagoon restaurant is managed by michel who is meticulous and very very professional, he sets a standard that all his staff follow to a tee, Walid, Magdy,Ahmed,Joseph,Imad(fast man) Chef one and chef two all deserve credit for the good job that they all do and they are a credit to the hotel.
The beach boys were also very helpful and always cheerful i must thank Rabia,Abdul and Hamesh (Buisness Man) for helping me with my arabic!
All in all the movenpick is a very well run hotel that i hope to visit many many times.
