I came to Dahab to windsurf as part of the Club Dahab experience.
The hotel is very average with little or no facilities. I was on half board option but the food was so bad I went into Masbat to eat out evrey other night. Food was very poor in hotel, tasteless, overcooked but still luke warm. It is the usual buffet style with large queues, lots of pushing in, and quite messy. Salads and soup were great...rice and bread good too but I could not live on that for 14 days. Rooms were tired and tatty. Bathroom likewise. Staff were helpful and friendly but for what I paid...this hotel was far below the standard. Only go if your on a desperate budget...much better to pay an extra £50 a week and stay next door at the Swiss Inn.

I went to the sinai on a windsurfing holiday with Club Vass, i was told it was like a Hostel, which was not worred as im used to camping so anything was a bonus, On arrival i found my room to be nice and clean with nice hot water and plenty of towels, the staff were very polite, and the food was plentiful and i had no problems with at all. As this was the first holiday abroad for many years was concerned. Couple of minutes to walk to the beach and could not have asked for more. Some of the other people went to the Swiss inn which looked very nice and upmarket, but after a day on the water i did not feel that i wanted to dress up to a certain standard to go down dinner so for anybody who is wanting a windsurfing holiday i would say the Sinai covers every thing you need.

Excellent hotel with democratic prices for windurfing.
Location is very good, right on the hotel territory are several Windsurfing camps.
Excellent service - we didn't have a single issue, as opposed to many non Dahab hotel reviews.
Rooms have safe boxes, so you can easily leave your valuables there.
The only slight drawbacks is cleaningness - sheets in the restaraunt are not cleaned very thoroughly, as well as matrasses in the open space. The sheets in the apartment however are replaced every day and are clean.
Majority of clients are from Russia or from Russian speaking countries.

i spent a great vacation with my family in dahab , its amazing location,clean sandy beash , clear crystal sea water not alot of corals and fish to see but still some water activities to enjoy,stuff are friendly and a tasty food. if u are traveling with children i recomend their conectig rooms but personly next time ill try their villa which is right close the beash. prices are negotiable in down town bazars if u are willing to buy something.
