Rooms and hotel, airconditioned, clean, safe and secure - this hotel is situated a very short walk off Charles Darwin Avene - beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful but easily within short and pleasant walking distances of all facilities - but taxis only $1 from furthest point of harbour - but remember it's all about 'conservation'! [ Wherever you are in Puerta Ayora take a flashlight with at night.]
We were well cared for, providing special meals for me at one point, and helping us in our search for an item we had lost whilst out on one of our trips; nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Purified water placed in room daily -we were long stay so can vouch that the high service level remains the same throught your trip. Drinking water is also available in the reception area to fill up own water bottles. Family members all speak very good English. Valuables can also be stored in the hotel's safe. Pool and jacuzzi cleaned daily and were a joy to use, with own facilities for changing showering etc. Would stay there again but sadly our fantastic trip will most likely will be the only one we will make to the Galapagos Islands.

The Hotel is decent, hot water ok, Solid construction but the quality is not as we expected, is like 1 Mile from the Ocean and all town activities, the owner a nice guy but not professional in solving problems with customer, very good Attitud but with the Hotel Quality could not do better.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after our boat tour and it was a good idea, just to get our bearings after being out at sea. The hotel is clean, has A/C and a nice breakfast. The rooms are a good size (compared to the room on the boat!) and some looked to have been recently remodeled.

It's near Darwin St. and walking distance to the port and to the Darwin Station. There's a pool (across the street) but I never used it.
