We stayed here for a week in September 2011. Our room overlooked the sea and was very comfortable and clean.

The dining room was excellent. The breakfasts were lovely with an amazing choice of food, both cold and cooked. Evening dinner was a buffet although the selection and choice of food was vast. The only comment I would make was that the food could have been hotter. There was a great choice of wines.

Before and after dinner, we sat on the terrace and had a few drinks. The view over the sea and round the coast was fantastic.

The staff in reception and in the dining room were so welcoming and helpful.

We would highly recommend this hotel.

We have been for the first time in Opatija and for the first time in Grand hotel. I was very pleased with both. The citiy is wonderful, full of some old mistic sence of history and the hotel fulfils the exact same sentiment. Very good food, friendly staff, nice rooms and big wellness center. Stayed only for two nights, unfortunately, because we were on a cruise along the cost line of Croatia (which is beutiful), otherwise wuld have stayed for couple more nights. The staff is very helpful and at your service 24/7. Recomending this hotel to everyone. Should include wireless in all rooms, but it is ok because it is free.

We stayed at Grand hotel 4 flowers of Opatija in june. We went with our 2 kids (3 and 7 years) and got a really nice room, big enough for all 4 of us. The staff of the hotel was really polite and helpful. When the key card didn't work they immediately send us a bell boy for help. They even suggested to change room but we didn't want it. The view from the balcony was breath taking and the evening in the lobby bar were entertained with light music. One evening we even had a show with Mr. and Mrs. Tuhtan. They very great. We booked a halfboard service and regreted we didn't book ful bord – the food was exquisit. It was really sunny the whole stay except one day when we visited the pool area and I went to the spa. It was the best masagge ever, and I go to spa's really often. I can not find enough words to commend this hotel. I recomend it to everybody, it is really value for money.

This hotel in the centre of Opatija is ideal place for work and leisure at once. I was attending a congress and have been at the hotel for 4 days. So, I had breakfast at 8, lectures from 9 to 13, lunch, lectures from 15 to 18 and the rest of the day free. As I`m sitting at the office whole year, the first thing I did was visit wellness center. It was a real discovery. Girls that work there told me everything I need to know about using and enjoying in spa zone. Next day it was time for a full body massage with aromatic oils. Wellness center looks superb and is extremely clean. Even with about 10 people in there it is still comfortable and relaxing. Grand hotel is a great place to combine business with pleasure and offers more that you could expect from 4 star hotel.
