Very good small privatel-owned resort in Assinie, Cote d'Ivoire. The hotel is run by a French national, and it's obvious. Rooms are surprisingly large, clean and well-furnitured. Restaurant is very good, though dishes are served extremely slow if you don't book your meal in advance. The lodge is apart from the beach, but you can always reach it by a shuttle motorboat. Beach is rather dirty, and the ocean is very dangerous.
Still, the hotel is definetely a choice for weekends away from Abidjan.
