We decided to get away for a few days. We stayed at the Trump Taj Majal in one of their suites. I have to say that the bedding was absolutely comfortable. The mattresses were just dreamy! There was a wet bar in the room and a huge plasma tv! The furniture was stained and one of the lamp shades was broken. We figure for 400 dollars a night, everything would be in tip top shape. It was an experience, but we'll stay elsewhere next time.

Our family of about 20 people gathered over the New Year's holiday to enjoy some time together. We chose Trump Taj Mahal for the large indoor pool for our children to enjoy while some of the adults played cards. I remember thinking how impressive this hotel looked years ago. Now it's dated, dark and smoky. Unfortunately, the only rooms available to us were in the main tower which again, is in need of major updating. There is a newer wing where I would have preferred to be. I think we'll choose Caesar's or Borgata next time.

My 95 year old mom and I stayed at Trump's Taj last month. We visited during the week so it was not very crowded. Checking in was a breeze. Unfortunately, the first room we checked into was either on the fourteenth or fifteenth floor. As soon as the elevator door opened onto the floor the smell of chlorine from the indoor pool was overwhelming. To make matters worse the nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. After a quick call to the lobby, we were changed to a room on the forty-second floor overlooking the ocean and the hotels of AC. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and when the city lit up at night, it was very pretty. The room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel.
