This hotel is the closest thing to a crack house I have ever experienced! It was disgusting. As we got out of the car to check in we were greeted by two very intoxicated men who asked us for money because they were trying to buy a bus ticket and pointed to the station across the street, the lobby was dated and smelled funky, kind of looked like something out of One Flew Over the CooCoos Nest, the rooms were dingy and depressing. Threw back the sheets to inspect the mattress, did not find bed bugs but did find hair (not sure if human or otherwise). Ended up cancelling reservations (as were 2 other guests ahead of us) and staying at the Days Inn on the boardwalk. Lower rate much nicer rooms and ambiance!!

Please be cautious with your personal belongings if you decide to stay here. What started out as a weekend getaway ended in a nightmare. My room was broken into here, money and credit cards where stolen!

I paid for 4 nights in advance, when we arrived an hour early,they said our room was ready,we went in the elevator and OMG it was so dirty and stunk so bad,when we got to our room 217,i opened the door and it stunk so bad like something sour,the carpet was filthy with stains,the room was so dark so i turned on the lights between the beds,only 1 worked and it was dim,turned on the overhead light on ceiling,it was also dim, went into the bathroom and the light wouldnt come on at all,only the exaust,so i tried to call downstairs and they wouldnt pick up the phone,so i went down & the guy says he will come look,brings 1 lightbulb with him,it doesnt work either,he told us we have to flip the switch back n forth a couple times and keep the switch on for the bathroom light to come on...a real FIRE HAZZARD,anyways,i was so upset with the smell and the lights not working i wanted to leave,i go to sit in the computer chair to think what to do next and the chair was broken,you couldnt lean back or you would hit the floor. I went back downstairs to see if we could switch rooms and the manager said all the rooms were booked & there isnt nothing wrong with the room im in,go back upstairs and the 2 teens i had with me said "its not that bad" lets just stay here and go to the beach,so i spray both beds & everything else with lysol disinfectant spray,i go to use the bathroom and the toilet seat was old and looked like old dings & cracks in it,i looked closer and the hotel owner had spray painted the toilet seats,cheap owners wont even replace a toilet seat, by the 4th day,i started noticing bumps on my arms,thinking it was sun posion, i was so wrong,it ended up being bug bites,now im sitting here itching so bad,i think that hotel should give me at least a partial refund.... DONT EVER STAY THERE

I read many reviews prior to arriving at this motel that had me very nervous, but I didn't experience any real problems with this motel. If you are not use to staying in cheap motels, the area may seem scary, but was fine. It was within walking distance to the boardwalk and was convenient to casinos. The room did have a slight odor, but it was so faint that after a minute in the room, you no longer noticed it. The pool and the rooms were clean, and no sign of any bugs. It is great for people who don't spend a lot of time in their rooms, and for the price you get what you pay for.
