Stayed for two nights on the 6th floor of the Orleans Tower. I am a deep sleeper and have hearing loss, I usually do not have any complaints about noise in hotels, but Showboat has thin walls that prevented me from getting a good night sleep. All night long you could hear doors slamming in the hallway, muffled voices from the hallway and other rooms, every single toilet flush from every nearby room. When the heater is off cool air seeps through the vents, which on occasion included the smell of cigarettes in our non-smoking room.
The second night I left the heater fan on constant all night, hoping the white noise would drown out some of the noise that kept us up the night before, with no such luck.
Parking is prepaid, I usually stay at Bally's or Caesar's where you pay on the way out, and since you are going there to gamble, you always get your parking comped.
Had breakfast in the Mansion Cafe, which was just average, I visit AC quite a few times a year and there are much better options than the Showboat.
