Booked this room sparingly while traveling from New York with my parents with the intent of spending one night in Atl City for a night of fun, my dad's bday, gambling, etc before traveling home to North Carolina. As a choice hotels card member, I was planning to use my points for a free night...so we arrived...as I pulled in, my parents said no way...the parking lot was scarce, the lawn was unkept and it looked as if it hadnt had a guest since the 70's...I got out, left my parents in the car and went to what was an office but was actually a room, because the office was going through renovations..I guess...I told the lady that I had reservations, but that I wanted to see the rooms first, she walked me to a room...when she opened the door, I was dumbfounded, that she actually thought I would like it.. the comforter was old, like faded, dingy, the carpets were horrible, the bathroom was dirty, the window seals were nasty, the furnishings were at least 30+ years old, the smell was mixed with an old antique odor and a hint of clorox...I looked at the lady and said.."no" she said what about this one and open the door next door and it was more of the same, except the bathroom tiles in this one was -lost for words..nothing was done in terms of housekeeping to make any of these rooms accomadating...its a complete racket and they think people are desperate to even stay there. I demanded my points be transferred to another hotel...and it was very nice I must say..by the way the continnetial breakfast( i think i spelled that wrong, but anyway) its false, there were 2 or 3 muffins in some type of plastic stand..no water, no juice, so just be aware..its not worth it, even at a cheaper prive, its not worth bed bug bites, possible skin inflammations and the likelehood of carrying roach eggs home...
