“Very good for the price.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2008

Hi,
Thanks for reading my review…
We (3 families) stayed here on a Saturday night for $39 a room…we saw the price on the same day evening around 7pm and called the front desk to confirm the rate…front desk guy was helpful and gave us what all we need - 1 King & 2 2-queen bed rooms.

Pros:
- For Saturday night the price is excellent for this kind of new hotel in Atlantic City
- Close to the boardwalk (hardly 10 minutes drive)
- Clean
- Heater worked fine
- Internet worked fine
- No noise or what so ever (we stayed behind the hotel though) from the traffic…but, I heard the next room’s shower in the morning
- Not a big breakfast, but just enough to survive till lunch: two types of doughnuts, pastry, juice and coffee

Cons:
- No exhaust fan in the restroom

“Beware”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2008

This place is a joke. The lady behind the desk is very rude!! Told us to F--- off in front off our 4 year old. Don't waste your time at this dump!!! There are much better places up the street with people who treat you with respect!!!!!

“Bad Hotel Choice! Beware of Staff!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2007

I stay at a lot of hotels! This was the worst experience I ever had! The woman at the front desk who was working the nights was the rudest person I ever met! I called her to as a simple question about the internet not working… and she went crazy! She yelled at me, telling me that she was very busy and didn’t have time to help or answer me. She hung up on me, so I called her back and asked why she was being so rude, she then screamed “Oh my god!” and continued to whine like a baby. I was in shock!! She said I cursed at her but I did not, she cursed at me for asking a question. I was very upset with the service! The next night I had yet another problem with the same woman. I had received a complaint that my daughter was jumping on the floor too loudly (she’s 2 years old) So I got her to sit down and be quiet, she was playing with her stuffed animals when I got yet another phone call, she said that a man was coming to my door to “fight” me! I asked her why and she said my daughter was still loud and this man was angry. I said she was not jumping or being loud she is playing with her toys… the woman called me a liar, yelled at me some more, and continued to treat me as if I was a dog. I said I was going to call the police since there was a man on his way to beat me and my 2 year old daughter up. She said “ No I will be the one to call the police! On you! The police never came in the end. ) I was just shocked, that she would allow another customer to threaten another and then provoke it at that. I would think a good employee who knew how to do their job would know how to handle a man treating to hurt a baby. Not encourage it! All in all, do not stay here if you don’t want stupid problems. The room was Dirty anyway, and the maid never came after the first of our three day stay, the tub was nasty and had no stopper. There is no coffee in your room you have to go to the office for all needs. No real breakfast … not to mention the hookers all around. THIS WAS MY WORST HOTEL STAY EVER!

“Not Bad for the affordable price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2006

The price of this hotel is very affordable. We booked in a very short time for a Saturday night. For two queen beds in a room, it was $119/night. It was very very clean and that was really important to us. Check in was at 2 pm but when we got there at 2 pm exact our rooms still weren't clean so we had to wait 45 minutes. It was also easy to find right off of Route 30 (Absecon Blvd). And it only takes 5 minutes to reach Borgata and the main Boardwalk area. We got rooms on the backside of the hotel so we didn't hear any highway noise. The hot water in the shower wasn't really too hot.

I still think the nearby location of this hotel, cleanliness and its affordable price beats out the price of the other hotels on the Boardwalk. If you're looking for cheap, this is it.

“Clean hotel and a great price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 June 2006

I never experienced the NOISE the other "reviewer" complained about so I can't speak of that. My husband and I found this hotel to be very clean (it's only a year or so old) and very reasonably priced. The only reason I gave it an average rating is because we felt the air conditioner was not working well enough to completely cool the room to a temperature we prefer. It could have just been that unit - I can't say - but we did find that a little disappointing. Other than that - the place was just fine for the price. We would definitely stay there again. Why pay $300 a night to stay on the boardwalk when I can stay within a few miles, save $255 which will give me more slot machine money. :)
