four generations of my family have been visiting the Monaco for over 25 years, every summer for two weeks. no, it is not beautifully furnished. but every morning i wake up to the sound of waves crashing, and sit out on the balcony & have my coffee. the view is the best i have ever seen on the east coast. there is a pool, or the warm and shallow ocean to swim in. we don't have to worry about the kids tracking in sand, as it is a very laid back atmosphere. we know the maids by first name, and catch up every year. we watch the dolphins swim by, and the junior life saving races every summer. we can walk to WAWA (like 7-11), and have four restaurents and two ice cream parlors with in two blocks. we can cook in the kitchenette. if you want an absolutly relaxing vacation this is the place.
