Upon check in they had no clue about my package deal, wasted half an hour getting that straight. Doors slamming and people running the halls all night, where was security? 7:00 AM the construction crew was hammering above my head , called front desk they said there was nothing they could do about it. The bar had a band playing so loud you had to shout to order a drink. Rude people at check out told me I should have seen the construction what did I expect, the website says nothing of this. Went to tropicana and was treated properly.

checked in to find out the Construction crew starts at 7am. - Oofah!!
no mention of this on the website during booking - Sorry nothing we can do the manager says

After settling in to room we walked around through the casino and resturarant - underwhelming!!
went to Borgata and spent the entire time there.
came back to GN for bed and fire alarm goes off at 2:30am
exited the building and then kind of waited around in my PJ's in the 20 degree weather.
We then made our way back to the Lobby to find the building still in full swing - What! fire alarm! nah im doing good on the tables, I'd rather catch fire than kill the mojo!!,
Asked a few security looking people what was going on and they said everythings fine go back to your room. Oh Really!! headed back to the check in desk and surprise no one within miles
finally got back to sleep and the next morning went to the breakfast buffet - mistake. we typically avoid buffet's, but figured how bad could you screw up breakfast. Well after some gross bacon, dry pancakes and runny eggs we got the hell out of dodge - never to return

the construction on the casino made it very difficult to find the entrance, but other than that the room was very nice, and clean.just a few minor things- the jets in the bathtub didnt work at all, and it took forever to get fresh towels from room service.

I stayed in a newly renovated room which was very clean and nicely decorated. The view is very nice and adds to the appeal of the room. My only complaint is the entire facility is undergoing a remodel so construction is happening everywhere in the hotel. The major issue with this is the time they began working with what seemed to be large drills and jackhammers- 7 a.m.. Staff was helpful but not fully informed about policies at the hotel. I am sure it will be great once the construction is complete but they really need to do more to satisfy their guests besides giving a letter explaining the construction on check-in.
