Stayed at the Water Club as alternative to business travel in the Philadelphia area. AC is about an hour outside so my wife and I stayed there for a nice change. The Water Club is the nicer of the two properties at the Borgata. Its more like the Vegas room styles and ameneties (e.g. full service mini-bar, nice flat panel TV, good Air conditioning and cleaner and more exclusive of the two. The room is nice for a 4 star type hotel (oout of 5). The view is great also as you overlook the water way or Ocean from thier spot in AC on the "marina side as they say". There are pretty good nice resturants(4 or 5 with Bobby Flay/Homestead for steaks, Wolfgang, Italian place, and seafood) and a food court. We ate at the Homestead that was good but pricey. For the diet conscience (not sure if it is though) and our personal favorte Izakaya is a Japanese place that has everything from (meat/plates fish/tofu etc) and modern take to the old standards that are very good with the ala carte type of menu to share plates. We would stay there again and would reccommend this over Ceasars or Harrahs.

The water club hotel room was clean and they have a flat-screen tv. Hallways were quiet and the hotel itself wasn't crowded unlike nearby borgata, check-in check-out was quick and convenient. Pools were for adults only. Shops available for necessities. Would try spa next time.

Wanted to get away from NYC with an extended getaway for the weekend holiday, and we chose Atlantic City (first-timers). The Borgata/Water Club is the only place we would consider staying at given reviews, pictures, etc and I have to say, we made the right decision! The beauty of this hotel/location is that you truly have everything you need at your fingertips, without having to leave the premises: shops, restaurants, casino, club, bars, pool, etc. The first night we ate at Bobby Flay's and guess who was there, just 2 tables away: Bobby Flay! What a cool, unexpected surprise! The room was perfect - 25th floor, great views, housekeeping service was prompt and consistent. The room was inviting and very comfortable, therefore staying in for a movie was a great evening option we enjoyed very much. The ambiance of the hotel is modern, but not cold or stuffy. Think zen...which makes me think of the spa (Immersion)...had a great treatment "rock my senses" and it was just great to spend some quality time at the spa. As a couple, we went to enjoy most needed R&R and the facilities met our needs 100%; however, it was clear many others went for the parties, nightlife and casino and again, I am sure they would agree their needs and desires were met as well. Again, you can't go wrong if you like updated, modern yet comfortable facilities and cool, zen ambiance. By the way, the Sunroom was such a great place to start the day with a light breakfast...ambiance was truly a surprise - very tropical and relaxing. Definitely recommended and we will absolutely be back.

My husband and I are spending this long weekend at the Water Club! It is a beautiful hotel and the spa is absolutely amazing.. When we first arrived the valet service gave my husband the car ticket but when we went to look for it, could not find. When we went to check in, we asked Joe our check-in host, if he could get us another ticket.. He said the valet was a different company and we needed to take care of that ourselves.. Ok, so that was my first impression! I wanted to leave immediately!! Really, that's how you treat your incoming guests?? I went downstairs and found the valet attendant and she graciously gave me a new ticket. Thank god I decided to ignore the ignorance of Joe at the front desk.. This is a wonderful and clean hotel with great service... I just hope others that encounter Joe do not leave on first impressions...
