No service. Really. People seems bothered if you ask for something.
An insistent band of people offering "the deal of your life" in 30 mins. If you say no, they don't even say bye.

The sea and climate (fine permanent breeze) is perfect.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The hotel room I had was falling apart literally. The bathroom was disgusting and I rarely had hot water, let alone water pressure. Not much of a beach. The staff was friendly but helpless to improve the crumbling structure of the hotel. Needs to be completely renovated.

This hotel is located in a great area next to one of the best restaurants in the city. The hotel has a private beach and the only functioning nightclub in town. The rooms are clean, but the plumbing requires so work...we had hot water on some days and not others. The sink clogged up and we called for service, which no one came. The beds were sleepable. However, the hotel had extra charges so I would ask them to give you in writing the total charges. Our bill came out 30% higher than what was quoted to us when we checked in.

The hotel is located right on the beach and within walking distance of the shopping areas. We have stayed here before and find the hotel very comfortable. The wireless internet is complimentary however you can only occaisionally access it from the lobby. For the most part it was very unreliable. There were two computers in the business centre which always worked. The rooms are large and very clean. Housekeeping services are excellent and the whole hotel is kept very clean despite being right on the beach and having alot of foot traffic from the beach. Our room was right above the gym where they had loud aerobics classes early in the morning......... yet we did not hear a thing in our room.

The food at the hotel is quite dismal. Even breakfast was lousy. To be fair, we only ordered room service so I cannot comment on the restaurant. The room service staff were very efficient and fast. There are a few restaurants and cafes in the storefront of the hotel (right outside the front door) which are very good and convenient.

The gym in the hotel is one of best that I found on the island. They have dumbells and some machines which are enough to do a decent workout. I checked out a few other gyms in the area and did not find any that were better than the one in the hotel. The massage I had was amazing (Stephanie was the masseur).

We use Karibik Divers for scuba diving. They take care of everything for you, including setting up your equipment in the boat and rinsing all your equipment at the end of the dive. Werner and his staff are amazing.
