Hotel was ok and quite new/modern, but service was poor. Rooms were all facing the swimming pool are I would said the walls were made of paper... so noisy! Even when the swimming pool was close I could hear noise from bars nearby and even from the service in the kitchen, from other rooms....
There were some nice guys working at the bar by the swimming pool but in general, receptionists and waitresses were not nice, they didn't have proper manners. Some of them had a fake smile other not even that!
All inclusive BUT you have to pay for the internet connection. Drinks were of poor quality. Food at the restaurant was ok, but food at the baracuda restaurant at the Decameron Aquarium was HORRIBLE! (It was the only restaurant of the Aquarium Hotel that seems to be availble, never was possible to book in any of the other restaurants of Aquarium, even being low season... no wonders why)
Anyway... Wouldn't book Decamerum again. If I come back to San Andres one day I would try hotel Casablanca which looked very nice and will probably not be all inclusive. Better to pay for your own drinks and food and to choose the place, price and about all the quality!

“Remove the boutique from this very average hotel”

There is no boutique aspect what so ever in this hotel no attention to detail and very average rooms,the toilet is below average. Breakfast is fruits cereal eggs and pancakes but the lunch and dinner are just terrible as must all inclusive hotels. There is no beach in the hotel the pool is small and the drinks are poor quality and the licor they have is the cheapeast in the market. The location is good close to good restaurants but better stay at lord pierre next door.

“Overbooked!”

After my flight delay, I arrived around midnight, with a prepaid hotel reservation.

They just sold the room to someone else and sent me to another of their affiliated hotels. It took me one extra hour to check-in!

Bad procedure for a serious company!

“San Andres Best Kept Secret! We LOVED it and will be going back!”

There is just something about this island the it's people......I absolutely love it and will be going back - again!

My husband and I, along with our best friends just returned from 2 weeks on San Andres Island. Originally, we were disappointed not being able to get into the Aquarium hotel, but we were bound and determined to go back to San Andres (our second time - first time for our friends), so we decided to try Decameron Los Delfines! It was the BEST choice we ever made! The staff is so professional (Jeeny, Manager) curteous, the rooms very clean and comfortable. The drinks - the best of all the Decameron Resorts (thanks to Eric and Olemen, Melvin & Kevin!). The restaurant (chef Carlo and his warm and friendly staff) serve guaranteed satisfaction - wonderful dining and the ceviche is SOOOOOO good!

We had one week at Los Delfines and our second week at the Aquarium - after our first week at Los Delfines, we wanted to stay at Los Delfines the whole 2 weeks, but unfortunately they were sold out, so we packed our bags and tried out the Aquarium - it was good......but Los Delfines is a keeper!!! See you Next Year!!

We had the awesome opportunity to visit all of the Decamerons during our 2 week stay and found them all awesome for different reasons.

Los Delfines is in a perfect location... just off the main beach and downtown. The food was excellent and given that the hotel is only a 5 minutes walk away from the Decameron Aquarium you still have access to the big hotel pleasures of a disco, multiple bars, evening entertainment, water craft rental, etc...

Additionally you are next door to a good car rental place so it's easy to get a golf cart for the day to visit the island / go shopping / hang out at the Decameron beach club.

Beyond that, the service was exceptional... we constantly had bar and food service to our room so we could sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean... The chef made us special meals on 3 different occasions... really good food... i couldn't get enough of the civeche.

Anyway... nothing negative to say from our stay.
