The hotel grounds are very nice, the hotel has been recently remodeled, and it is one minute away from Medellin's international airport. Medellín is 40 minutes away, and the city also has plenty of very good hotels. I had pre-paid for my room online, but I was charged again upon check-out. Attempts to be reimbursed have been futile, and the hotel only agreed to repay only part of the double charge.

I made that mistake, and weeks after I had booked, they sneaked a $100 debit. I have contacted them to try to get this rectified, and they don't want to know. I have had to get VISA to open up an investigation for fraud. They claim that I made a reservation and did "not show".

If you must stay near Medellín international airport, Santiago de Armas hotel is a more sensible and friendly choice.

Good price, not luxurious but confortable. A bit noisy in th third floor, employees move around from 12pm to 4am I did not understand why

Nice place to stay on a late arrival or early departure from Medellin.Nice staff, good food,Steam room,sauna,nice warm pool. There is nothing to do other than go to close tipical restaurants. Rooms are beeing remodel , mean while the old rooms got nice view,Cable Tv but terrible bathrooms and a very hard bed and pillows.Bed is too small.Internet access free at the "business center".
