This resort is not cheap like the rest of China - it's trying to be like Hong Kong and failing. Beach and hotel are great, but other than Chinese very little of any other language is spoken dispite calling itself an international conference centre. The food was acceptable, but again, would have expected better from a 5* centre - none chinese food was very poor.
One very sad point i have to mention is that the concierge pocketed 100 yuan that i gave him to pay a taxi - and sadly, with only basic communication skills, i could not prove it. Very disappointing, but lesson learned on my part.
The room i had was very spacious and well decorated with a great sea-view. Would i stay there again........nope. After spending two weeks travelling through the chinese mainland - this part of Sanya was a disappointment.
