Its an hotel owned by Shenzen Airlines, with a aviation concept lobby.

The rooms are average. I had a bad experience, the air conditioner was freezing the room and they could not turn it off. So i used an electric heater while it was 25 degrees outside.

The reception staff was rude, and claiming you as a thief of room equipment that the housekeeping could not find.

The location is not bad, but you should take a taxi for a good dinner or nightclubs. .

More 4 star I guess. I was in a smoking room and it was a bit smelly, but not enough for me to complain & ask to be moved. Let's face it, everybody there seems to smoke! It was clean enough tho to be fair. No wireless on the 12th floor & the ethernet connection was intermittant and a tad slow.
The staff are all friendly and I suspect their English is work in progress-lets put it this way, it's better than my mandarin! The bar in the hotel is ok but we were kicked out at 12:30AM on a Friday night, which is a bit odd. The cafe serves food from East & West, we ate there twice & it was ok, not great, but not terrible either.
The worst bit for me was the forced air freshner smell in the lobby and common areas, if anyone from the hotel ever goes on Tripadvisor then I hope they read this & change it because it is truly awful.
At the end of the day, for £50 a night (or thereabouts) & for business purposes it ain't 'alf bad.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Certainly not a 4-star. Lobby is OK but they constantly play the stupid airline music and the girls dressed as Air Hostesses do the dance which actually looks quite corny and stupid.

Rooms stink! Literally! They are old and worn out and there is a terrible odor. Bathrooms have even worse odor.

Not too many choices for western food. Breakfast hotels are like a zoo. There isn't enough room so you may end up sharing a table with a stranger,

Internet connection is OK but getting access to the power and the ethernet cable is very hard.

I guess that it's OK for an average Chinese traveler but Westerners should stay away from this hotel.

i stayed here for two weeks in January 2010. the hotel smells faintly of rotting fruit and cooking oil. there was a periodic food sewage odor that seemed to originate from the bathroom sink. my shower door leaked water all over the bathroom floor when i used the shower, the bedroom carpet was very stained, and the furniture looked unclean. i could not turn the air conditioning off so my room was about 60 degrees F. we asked the concierge and the health club manager if they would consider opening the health club a little earlier, since about 15 of us wanted to work out before work (it opens at 6:30am) and several conversations later (most employees do NOT speak english), we were told they could open early, at 6:25am. in another conversation, i asked the concierge where i could buy a postcard stamp for the U.S. and he said he didnt know but for $300RMB (about $40USD) he would mail the postcard for me. uh huh. lastly, the restaurant on the first floor, while offering some mildly "western fare", also has moldy bread all along the wall (its supposed to be decor, but it's real bread and its really moldy). note that water is not potable in this hotel. i would not stay here again if given the choice.
