This was a great find when we were trawling through the city late at night on a last-minute business trip. The walk-in rates are steep--they only had Executive Club rooms available for RMB1,100/night. Breakfast was included as was access to the executive club lounge. (Happy hour is from 5p-7p with some alcoholic drinks and snacks.) We did not check out the gym.
The rooms were large and clean. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the room temperature was just right although the a/c is quite noisy. (I turned mine off.) There is complimentary wi-fi in the room as well as a desktop computer and a flat-screen tv. The bathroom was large--the bathtub and shower are in one space w/a door. The room comes with all the usual amenities: toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, 2 bottles of water, and a mini-bar.
The lobby bar was a bit dismal -- smoky and dark -- with a limited selection of beverages. But the breakfast buffet in the bistro is not a bad mix of Chinese and Western: lots of cooked food, a good fruit selection, and pastries.
As with many places of this calibre in China, service was warm and earnest.
