In its lobby, it shows this hotel is a 3-star one. But it is quite old and its facilities are only as those hotels in 1990s. If you want to experience, this hotel would be a good choice.
Its location is quite convenient, which is by the West Lake and in the city center. There is shopping street next to it and many restaurants (at least Mcdonald's). The bus stop is right outside.
The breakfast tastes good.
The shower is good enough as well. The water coming out is not that strong when hitting your body.
But the electric sockets on the wall are problems, because they are all round-pin ones, which do not fit the modern plugs (flat ones). And there is no two-pin socket in the room. There is only a flat tripod socket in the bathroom. When I was about to cook water by using an electronic kettle, I asked the staff how to do it. The lady seemed to be quite indifferent, asking,"Oh? You want to cook the water now?" I thought this question was very nonsense. Couldn't I cook the water now?
She advised me to cook the water in the bathroom! The reasons were:
1.The socket in the bathroom is flat, which fits the kettle cable.
2.The original answer was,"You need to fetch water in the bathroom! So why don't you cook it there as well? It is more convenient." -_-|||
3.Last time a guest cooked the water inside the room and the boiling water ran out on her laptop.
I told her,"Don't you know there is a lot of bacteria in the bathroom?! Even a person who has common sense will know about it. In addtion, look at here (basin). It is wet. Don't you know the kettle will be easily short-circuited here?!" In the end she got us a plugboard which was flat.
