I stayed for 3 nights in this fantastic hotel for a conference. I had out of this world experience. The rooms are in different blocks in the large property of the resort and each room has either garden view or a pool view as each block has independent swimming pool. Backside of hotel faces a lake and there is lots and lots of greenry around this property. The variety of food, especially the sea food, in the buffet is absolutely great. Overall I had extremely nice experience at this resort hotel and would recommend for real unwinding from a busy city schedule.

Stayed 5 nights at the Goodview this month, and there's no reason to leave unless you have off site business meetings to attend. The staff is delightful, food is exquiste, and nightlife is better than Las Vegas. What else is there to say? The Mission Hills golf course is 1st rate and closeby to the Goodview.

As an Ex-Hotel General Manager I have to say that this hotel is one of the best hotels I ever had the pleasure of staying.
The rate is a bargain for such a clean and well managed place.
The food is great, the spa divine and if you ask, you can get a bed with a softer mattress on check-in...but I always choose the firmer beds.
I have stayed at the Good View several times and it never disappointed me.
English is not the strong suit of the staff but they make up for it with friendly efficient service.
Great attention to details at this place amazes me every time I am here and I am sure that you too will enjoy you Good View stay.

I've now stayed at this hotel for each of the two stagings of the Omega World Cup golf at nearby Mission Hills.
It's one of the highlights of the working year to go to the Good View.
The rooms are huge and luxurious. Yes, the beds are hard as other reviewers have said, but for me that's ideal. They're big, clean, comfortable, and I never fail to have a good night's sleep.
The bathroom has shutters which open up to the main room, so you can soak in the bath and watch tv, if you so desire.
The shower has an excellent almost sand-blast setting!
The facilities are terrific. The staff are helpful and attentive. The pools and spa are excellent.
The Fantasy night club is a joy. The hotel bills it as a Chinese Las Vegas. There's no gambling, but there's a revue stage with singers, magicians, dancers, every evening. There are 100 karaoke rooms. It's an eye-opening place!
The only downside for the club area is the price of drinks. They certainly sting you for more cash than most of the other venues around here. Two small beers for 100RMB when you can get one big one in most of the nearby town restaurants for 10RMB.
Already looking forward to next year's visit
