I've stayed here 3 times now and I always look forward to it. It is a massive hotel with great facilities. The pools ( outdoor and indoor ) are huge. The gyms are ok. The restaurants are variable ( avoid the Brazilian BBQ like the plague ).
The strangest thing about the hotel is that, no matter how full, you rarely see another person.
The surroundings are stunning. There is a massive lake out front and a woodland walk through manicured gardens up to a pagoda surrounded by statues. Out the back of the hotel there is a forest and some ponds which are inhabited by large frogs which make the most bizarre noise.
The worst thing by far about the hotel is reception, and this has got progressively worse. They speak patchy English and everything takes ages. This really needs sharpening up as every request turns into a protracted discussion among the staff and endless questions.
they always get it right in the end though!
