Pros:
Location is great. Restaurant and cafe on premises therefore convenient. Service is great. New hotel, good quality linen. 24 hour day checkout policy is great (ie, no fixed time to checkout and you are not charged late checkout fee as long as your checkout time did not exceed the number of 24 hour days of your stay). Accepts our US Visa credit card. Mostly business clientel, quiet and non-smoking.

Cons:
Room designs are innovative, but too unconventional for us. We stayed in the Elegance Room at beginning of trip. It was roomy, the bathroom was separate from the bedroom area by a plexi glass enclosure. As long as you remembered to lower the blind your privacy was protected! One of our guests forgot that. One side of the closet had a bad smell - may be the chemical in the paint? The light in the bathroom was motion sensed. There was no manual overide, so if one got up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, the light stayed on until time elapsed. If one stayed motionless for a while inside the bathroom the light turned off. Not convenient at all for older customers.

Later we stayed in the Merriment Room. Its design was very un-userfriendly. To get to the toilet you must pass the shower stall. After showering, any visit to the toilet was a wet feet affair. The bathtub was in the bedroom. No partition. It was awkward to walk around naked in wide open before shower or bath. There was not enough hooks or anything to put your clothes when using shower or bath. Doors to shower and toilet swing both ways, although there were signs saying push or pull. This room is not recommended unless for honeymooners.

Overall the rooms were dim. It may be a design feature, but rather uncomfortable for packing/unpacking. The digital room key kept giving us trouble, the second key almost never worked. There was something wrong with the computerized key coding system.

Breakfast was good, with Chinese dim sum. However there were only 3 choices; you could not get coffee or any Western style breakfast. Suggest hotel management consider adding at least coffee!

I am rating this hotel Very Good because it has all the basic amenities a traveller needs - comfort, cleaniness, good service, convenient location. The quality of the service and amenities is very good. The nightly rate was reasonable. It is excellent for business persons.
