The hotel is nice and clean.
The staff looks tight and trained.
The bed is amazing.
But the food and breakfast is not for everyone's taste

A brand new hotel from the Wyndham group. Unlike Days Inn's back in the U.S., Days Hotels in China are very nice. Just below Crowne Plaza level. (No pool usually)However, this one has some problems.
First, who builds a KTV nightclub on the 8th floor of a hotel? At 1 am I had to get out of my bed and put on my clothes to go down to the desk to complain about the loud bass sound from the music. I was on the 15th floor! I was happy to say it was gone when I got back to my room, but none to happy to have to get up in the first place.
Second, When I was checking out, my wife who speaks Chinese and English asked for a taxi. The bellhops told her we had to walk down to the corner to find one as they are hard to find in front of the hotel. WHAT??!! That's their job. As I went to the front desk to complain, a taxi drove by and was waved down.
Third. As I was on the Wyndham website, after my stay, I noticed the hotel offers a free breakfast. No one told me this at check in, thus I was unable to enjoy breakfast as I didn't want to pay for it.
Fourth. The only thing around the hotel are industrial sale shops. However, if you take a right out the door, then another right, then cross the street under the underpass, you will find a good hotpot restaurant called Little Sheep on the right. Continue 2 blocks and there is a Carefouur and Mcdonalds. There is NOTHING next to or behind the hotel.
There were some GOOD points though. Everything is spotless, probably because it's a new hotel. I was upgraded to a larger room upon arrival for no charge. Never had that happen in China before. The rooms are very nice and include a computer with free Internet. LCD TV, but no movie channels. Only cable news from the U.S. and some Hong Kong stations. Decent (for a hotel) prices for the mini bar. No where to go late at night, so paid $1.65 for a bottle of orange drink. Nice and comfortable bed. No Chinese hard bed here. Alarm click that was analog and easy to set. Plenty of lighting.
Fantastic price off Wyndham website for $65.50. And at checkout, no extra fees or taxes were added from the website quote!
Location is still good for Fuzhou. Pretty much in the middle of the city. Just not a great neighborhood for shopping or eating. Probably why the low price. Would stay again on a high floor at the same price. Would have given 4 stars if not for that darn nighclub.
