We spent two nights and had a very nice room with sea view. Staff is very friendly and was very supportive to get my luggage, which was delayed by Lan Chile. The hotel is well located and is a great place to start your Patagonia trip.

Best hotel by far in Punta Arenas in my experience - I have stayed at some others over the years when going to and from the Falkland Islands - but this place is new. Rooms are very large, comfortable, and have a designer feel to them. The electronic blinds between the room and bathroom are a bit of a novelty. Shower is absolutely amazing - it's spacious and has all sorts of spa style spray nozzles. Breakfast offering is very good. Staff accommodating - allowed us to check-in early.
We stayed at Dreams hotel for two nights. The room and the view were just perfect. The classical music was played in the bathroom and it was really nice. The location couldn't be better if you want to explore Punta Arenas for a day or two this is the place to stay. The staff were nice and friendly. The only thing I would complain is the heat in the room as it gets very hot in day time (the beginning of summer in December) We asked for a fan but it's still hot even at night. The breakfast was good and I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Punta Arenas. The Unimarc (Chilean version of convenient store) is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
I wanted a hotel on the Strait of Magellan, and this place is the only option in Punta Arenas. This place is a modern, glass mini-tower in an end of the world, otherwise decrepit town. Out of place. That said, it is a casino primarily, and offers gambling and entertainment on the main floor. The place was busy. My check in was a touch slow, but the room was very nice and modern. I had a comfortable stay.
This hotel is comfortable, modern and have the best view of the Estrecho. The rooms are huge and quiet. The bathrooms are amazing! It is, for sure a place that have all things that a five star should have, starting, for example with a great pool.
I don´t agree, tough, with most of the arquitecture. The lobby is kind of cold, without that special pioneer's thing that all Punta Arenas has. Also, i have to say that the spa is, nowdays, offering a very incomplete service.
