“Nice, value for money & free WIFI”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

Nice gesture of hotel to send someone to pick us up from the airport though is only a mere 15mins drive away. A cozy 2 storey inn which is located quite centrally, in btw popular Pub street & places of interest like Angkor Wat. Room is clean, not big but good enough for the 2 of us. Love the balcony as we can laze and surf our free wifi there. Only complaint is the howling dogs in the wee hours which we can hear pretty loud during 2 of the days. We stayed at Rm 201.

Breakfast is the same for the 3 days there (fruits, eggs with baguette & coffee/tea). That's fine as this is a small scale inn and they can't have the buffet style like what the big hotels have. All in all, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The main gate will be locked at night so you need to press the buzzer if you return late. For USD$25/room, it's really value for money.

It is a very nicely decorated place. Rooms are small , but we were hardly there, only at night so didn't mind that. Breakfast was lovely lots of fresh fruit some of which I never saw before and some white crusty bread. The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite.Arranged tickets for our trip back to Phnom Penh and were able to suggest places to go and see. Rooms very clean and tidy with lovely balcony to sit on. Tastefully decorated. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.Very good value for money and good location.

“Clean quiet location, best maid in Asia.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

Very good hotel. It is on a clean paved street, not on a muddy dirt road like many of the other places I saw. Nice quiet tucked away location, very secure with a guard watching the gates all night. Lovely rooms with very good lighting, nicely stained wood, and interesting Cambodian style decor. Has a pretty goldfish pond that circles all around and inside the hotel. Most or all of the rooms have their own balcony, which was very attractive with potted plants and a good view of trees and nature. They could use a screen or wall between each balcony though to give you more privacy from your neighbores. Everthing worked and was in good condition. Wireless internet was strong and I enjoyed using it out on the balcony with my laptop. Felt safe and I never had any problems leaving my things in the room during the day. Breakfast was very good, and very high quality, but could use more variety I suppose, it's just fruit, bread and eggs each day, but that's typical for a hotel breakfast.

What my favorite part of this hotel was though was the maid. WOW, she really impressed us. We would see her working 12 hours per day, she was always respectful of our things, and did an amazing job cleaning the room every day. She even cleaned out the couple ash marks I left in the ashtrey when I used it, that's crazy. I've never tipped a maid before in my life, but I tipped this one. If the owners or anyone working there reads this, tell her we said thanks, and give her a pay raise, she sure deserves it, she is really doing an incredible job for your hotel.

And the price was good, especially for the quality we got. High end feel at a budget price. Would recommend this place to anyone.

It was nice surprise to see this little beautiful place - wooden rooms with porch, family atmosphere, everything is very clean , flowers, water, 15 minutes walking to central town, perfect stuff. And guide sevice with the best driver Thy thanx to whom we could see more than even we could imagine for short 4 days we stayed there.

“Nice hotel and very good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2011

This hotel is located near the river and not faraway from the old market where you can find most of the bars and restaurants. The room is in good condition and the stuffs working there are nice, speak good English and very helpful. Breakfast is ok, but you don't like eggs, this could be a problem. They can arrange bikes, cars and tuk tuk for you as well. I also got a nice cotton Khmer scarf the day when I was leaving !
