Very good hotel. It is on a clean paved street, not on a muddy dirt road like many of the other places I saw. Nice quiet tucked away location, very secure with a guard watching the gates all night. Lovely rooms with very good lighting, nicely stained wood, and interesting Cambodian style decor. Has a pretty goldfish pond that circles all around and inside the hotel. Most or all of the rooms have their own balcony, which was very attractive with potted plants and a good view of trees and nature. They could use a screen or wall between each balcony though to give you more privacy from your neighbores. Everthing worked and was in good condition. Wireless internet was strong and I enjoyed using it out on the balcony with my laptop. Felt safe and I never had any problems leaving my things in the room during the day. Breakfast was very good, and very high quality, but could use more variety I suppose, it's just fruit, bread and eggs each day, but that's typical for a hotel breakfast.
What my favorite part of this hotel was though was the maid. WOW, she really impressed us. We would see her working 12 hours per day, she was always respectful of our things, and did an amazing job cleaning the room every day. She even cleaned out the couple ash marks I left in the ashtrey when I used it, that's crazy. I've never tipped a maid before in my life, but I tipped this one. If the owners or anyone working there reads this, tell her we said thanks, and give her a pay raise, she sure deserves it, she is really doing an incredible job for your hotel.
And the price was good, especially for the quality we got. High end feel at a budget price. Would recommend this place to anyone.
