We are at the end of a two week holiday in Vietnam and Siem Reap and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at within this price range. Impeccably clean, elegant touches of silk cushions and lampshades, good breakfast - ok, repetitive after the third day as it's always the same egg fried noodles and rice, but the fresh fruit are delicious. The breakfast terrace is great, so elegant and sunny, made me feel like I'm on a luxury holiday. The reception hostess, Neem, was really genuinely friendly and helpful, got us tuk tuk drivers, a guide, recomended us the best value restaurant around where we went back a couple of times, Chivit Thai. This also does good Khmer local food, better than what we had on Pub street. Laundry was $3 per kg. If you opened the window in the mornings you could hear some monks chanting. But not if it's closed. The room was very quiet. They have mosquito nets on the windows. The swimming pool was not heated, a little too cold for me in February. The first day we checked in the room smelled very strongly of some perfume, but after airing it and turning on the AC it was fine. Overall a great base to visit Siem Reap, I will recommend this to all my friends.
