“Great value for money, location, clean”

We are at the end of a two week holiday in Vietnam and Siem Reap and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at within this price range. Impeccably clean, elegant touches of silk cushions and lampshades, good breakfast - ok, repetitive after the third day as it's always the same egg fried noodles and rice, but the fresh fruit are delicious. The breakfast terrace is great, so elegant and sunny, made me feel like I'm on a luxury holiday. The reception hostess, Neem, was really genuinely friendly and helpful, got us tuk tuk drivers, a guide, recomended us the best value restaurant around where we went back a couple of times, Chivit Thai. This also does good Khmer local food, better than what we had on Pub street. Laundry was $3 per kg. If you opened the window in the mornings you could hear some monks chanting. But not if it's closed. The room was very quiet. They have mosquito nets on the windows. The swimming pool was not heated, a little too cold for me in February. The first day we checked in the room smelled very strongly of some perfume, but after airing it and turning on the AC it was fine. Overall a great base to visit Siem Reap, I will recommend this to all my friends.

Room Tip: We had an upper floor room, 5th floor, facing the pool, and it was quiet and spacious.

“Lovely, centrally located hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We have been staying here for 3 nights and have had nothing but friendly smiles, great service and assistance the entire time! The rooms are clean and well presented, the lobby and surroundings tidy and comtempory, there is a nice wee pool too cool off in when the weather is too much for you (most of the time for me!) and an outside bar at the front of the hotel, and roof top terrace for breakfast, with great views. Breakfast could be improved, but it has the basics, and the pool table is a bit on the ancient side. Rooms (well ours did) have a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, water, fridge, bathroom products, bath and fresh towels every day. With a little more effort, which wouldnt take much, this could easily be a 4* hotel. Would definitely stay here again and will tell any friends travelling to stay here. Did I mention the free internet and computers? :-)

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Though a few blocks away from the city centre, it is still within walking distance. Easy to rent a bike in the adjacent street to bike to Angkor Wat, or to take a tuktuk from here. Nice breakfast in rooftop restaurant. Friendly staff, who arrange bus ticket, speak good English. Good value for money. We would stay here again, to be recommended.

“good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

The rooms are large and clean, the location is convenient (close from the center but not too close) and the staff is friendly.
the breakfast buffet is not extraordinary but there have more choice à la carte.

Great home base to visit Angkor temples for a nice price.
