I did a trip through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia and this is the hotel I stayed in at the end of my trip before flying out. The hotel itself was in a good location. It was in a quieter street of Siam Reap however walking distance to the main part of town, "Bar Street" and the FCC. The lobby was open air and nicely furnished. The rooms were decent and had a balcony. One night I walked into the bathroom and found a gecko in there (very common in Asia to no fault of the hotel) and called reception who sent someone promptly to get it out.
The hotel has a pool which we made use of and it was nice to jump in after a long, sweaty day of sightseeing. The breakfast was average especially if you have dietary requirements, but adequate.
There were two faults I found with this hotel. One, I needed to use internet access with a printer so I went down to the lobby and they set me up in the business centre. However, the desktop was very old, the internet really slow and the printer didn't work. I told them I was disappointed but they still charged me. Also, one of the days we decided to eat lunch by the pool, and it literally took them an hour and fifteen minutes to bring us a sandwich and chips. We didn't eat there again. There are loads of restaurants in town, and the FCC is well worth going to if you want western food.
The hotel is nice but don't expect a fantastic place - although after some of the hotels I stayed at on my trip, it seemed pretty good at the time!
