Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights in May 2008 and just loved it! The place, then called Journeys within Bed and Breakfast, is absolutely fantastic. They only have a few rooms, so it is never crowded and they have got time to be personal. Apart from that, the rooms are just beautiful and a swim in the pool in the late evening after a long day visiting the Angkor Wat area... not much can beat that!

Also, Andrea and Brandon had helped us with arranging also a leg to Battambang and a boattrip across Tonle Sap. On the boattrip across the boatcompany lost one of our bags, but Brandon and his crew were just fantastic in helping us with the police and everything.

If (I'd love to say when, but...) we ever return to Siem Reap, this will be the place to stay!!

Journeys Within has a wonderful facility with great rooms, common areas, dining room and swimming pool. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The people are reason to visit. The staff really do their best to make sure every guest's needs are met, from massage to free laundry to recommendations on where to eat and what to do. I came on a photo tour and really appreciate how accessible they make Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, and the surrounding area. This is truely a great base for a visit to the area.

In addition to providing a great hotel, they gave us a great experience. Thru JWOC (http://www.journeyswithinourcommunity.org/), we were able to learn more about the people in the area of Siem Reap and had the opportunity to give back to the community we were visiting. Its great to travel, learn about new places and be able to participate with a great organization. Brandon and team have the right idea: "See a problem: solve a problem" And its a privilage to both enjoy a great vacation and be part of the solution.

The had a wonderful 3 day stay at journey within. We had interconnecting rooms. Both were huge and well appointed. Our two girls aged 8 and 10 had a lovely time in the pool and playing with the owners daughter. The food in the little restaurant was excellent. They even had homemade chicken nuggets for the children. They do your laundry every day for free which is a great bonus. They arranged a guide for us who was also wonderful. They provide a tuk tuk to drive you into the centre of siem reap in the evenings, where we had some wonderful, absurdly cheap meals.
We the family who run the hotel also run a charity from the site next door. They provide an education program for the local community and run a scholarship program putting local people through university, amongst many other things.

We usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels and this certainly met all our hopes. The perfect place to stay in siem reap

Im currently recovering from crazy Jet Lag after a 2 week tour of Cambodia and Thailand through Journey's Within. Every single thing about our trip was INCREDIBLE. Words cant describe how relieved I am that we used this company to take care of planning our SE Asia adventure. They really understood our "travel personalities" and planned a perfect itinerary. The highlight of the trip was visiting Siem Reap and meeting Andrea and Brandon Ross (the owners). Their hotel looks brand new after a very nice remodel and the whole place seemed like a perfect spot to stay while visiting the amazing country of Cambodia. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious with very reasonable prices, as well.
We were lucky enough to get a tour of the JWOC facilities next door and see first hand what Andrea and Brandon are doing for their community. They are making a huge difference in thousands of people's lives daily. From providing clean water, art classes, computer lessons, schooling, and jobs for the locals--- these people are doing it all! We cant recommend Journey's Within enough... A definite must for planning a tour AND staying while in Siem Reap.
