We stayed at Shinta Mani during our honeymoon in January 2010, but the menu would not allow me to go back that far, but I liked this place so much that I still wanted to review it even though my memory is a bit spotty at this point. Of all the hotels we stayed in when we visited Indochina, Shinta Mani was one of our favorites. The staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful, unobtrusive. I don't remember much about the room except that it was comfortable. The pool was simply gorgeous - I remember very clearly plunging in after a morning touring the temples in the sun and thinking, this is pretty much the best thing ever. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Plenty to see and do within walking distance of the hotel (including the night market). Shinta Mani is part of a hotel school for young people (who are doing a great job), so what you pay to stay there does some good, too.
