Dirty derilict hotel, ready for demolishion
(people told us it was indeed going to e replaces by another hotel r a supermarket)
Shame on khiri travel that booked our rooms thzere.

We fell for the Tuk tuk scam where "everything is full" and tales of "I took one guy around for two hours trying to find a cheap place to stay" except of course the hotel they want to take you to. First impressions seemed very good - we were shown to two bungalows in the grounds, rooms done out in bamboo style with black slate bathrooms. However the large fridge in my room hadn't clearly worked for a very long time judging by the pong when I opened it, no hot water, shampoo dispenser long empty. Bed comfy but the room needed a really good scrub down. Pity because it's right by the river and easy to get into town.

A nice little hotel by the river, directly across the road from the FFC (which is a great place for a meal). Some of the rooms are in the main building, but the nicer rooms are in the lovely little air-conditioned huts. You may find you are sharing the room with a little lizard on the ceiling or wall, but that's par for the course in Cambodia!
