This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is tastefully done, the food is decent, and they have a cute pool. If you do take a swim, watch out though because when you're inside the pool, it appears to be about a foot longer than it actually is because the water "spills" over the tile at the end, making it appear that the edge is where the water's edge is. I banged my chin because I brought my face up expecting the edge to be a foot away, and WHAM! Fortunately, I didn't hurt myself too bad, but I did have a sore chin for a few days.

The only minor downside is that the hotel is located about a mile away from town, and is not walkable, so you can't just stroll out but have to take the hotel's tuk tuk which is generally available at 15 to 30 minutes notice.

the owner mme danielle and her husband are so nice and helpful.
we have also a nice massage there in the tipical khmer house,super.
at evenig we re had a cocktail and play pool verry cool.
all was perfect again.

oh take the mini suite whoh...

we sspend 4 days in villakiara and was amasing.its the best stay we had in our asian trip.the staff are verry professional and so friendly.specially vanya and sopheak,they make ur stay unforgetable.
the pool,so cooool the cocktail are celiciuos like a food there.
but the best was a massage and our mini suite.the design si nice.
after the temple trip its so nice to be back at the villa.
at nigth we have a nice recommendation for the restaurant like cassia and wadamnak,verry nice.
i think cassia was the same owner?verry nice food there and thank u for your job laurent,you make your customers verry happy.
we also have a glass in town,only 5mins away from the villa but they have a free tuk tuk,nice service,but honnestly we prefer stay at the villa enjoying the cocktail and the billard...

we just have a fantasitic time in villa kiara.
we are a couple and the hotel make ours holliday wonderful.
the team are just perfect and so friendly,helpful.
the food verry verry good if u like a fine food,thenk u for the chef khmer and laurent.
the room was clean and nice design,
so i think we never forget villakiara,thenk u everybody there for prefcet holliday.
siem reap is a nice small town but u can enjoy everday after temple the evening in town,a lot a restauarant choice and bar.we like le malraux and miss wong.
and we have a free tuk tuk from villakiara for go and back so all is secur.
we come bavk to siem reap for sure and of course we stay again at villakiara again.
