Great location! close to everything! but unless you like sleeping with baby cockroaches, avoid here! small cockroaches where crawling out of the headboard of the bed so slept with our heads at the other end of the bed for 2 nights. within the space of a half hour we counted 7 on our bed!!!! when we approached staff about it they didnt seem to speak good enough english to understand!!!!!!!!!! if it hadnt been part of our pre-paid tour i would have left within the hour! you can defo find better value for money!

Situated within a 10 min walk to the old french quarter this clean middle class hotel offers excellent service, reasonable rooms and a huge breakfast buffet (do come early though!) and the price is reasonable too.

“Best spot to stay in Siem Reap!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2009

We found the Angkor PhC kind of by mistake (the worst thing about it is its name, very tricky to remember!) but it was such a happy mistake.
Large rooms, large bathrooms, best water pressure we've had in South-East Asia, super hot water, aircon, great TV, comfortable beds, very clean and centrally located (near the Old French Quarter, 2 mins from the main street).
The staff are wonderful, too - authentically helpful without trying to sell you anything.
And for $18 for a double per night, you get a free buffet breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast, tomatoes, pancakes, hash browns, fruit, tea and coffee. Excellent start to the day.

Really was 100% happy with our choice here (and we stayed at the Mandalay Inn in Siem Reap, too, so we had something to compare it to).

“Good central hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2009

Stayed there 2 nights as part of a trip around Cambodia. Well centraly located to market and bars/restaurants, the rooms were clean and big enough. Bathroom was fine and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but it would do, the juices were water though. The hotel hasn't got a pool but you can go and use the one in the hotel opposite for around 3 dollars. Well worth it.

“Clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2009
2
people found this review helpful

Reasonably clean. Location is good, walking distance to town, in a street with plenty of hotels. The breakfast is 6.30-10 but do try to get in before 8.30 as breakfast runs out fast. Each room comes with 2 bottles of water everyday and tv with plenty of channels for every age and language.

  • Liked — TV
  • Disliked — Older travellers will have a problem with the stairs and children with the dust at the stairway
