“Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011 via mobile

I travelled here as part of a group where they handled the hotel bookings so I'm not certain on the price, but it can't be that much considering how affordable my tour package cost! The rooms are decent sized, cold in-room controlled AC units, comfy bed, and warm shower. The desk staff is super friendly and a business center is available in addition to the free WiFi. That brings me to my only neutral comment, simply because I refuse to hold the hotel to the Internet standard I have back at home, but the WiFi is a little spotty. It'll work for a while, then cut out. But they have three hotspots so you're constantly having to juggle from hotspot to hotspot.

Overall good stay.

“Nice Hotel”

The hotel is located within walking distance from the markets and pub street. It's a block away from the main road which is a little quieter. The traffic and honking can become annoying. We stayed here for 2 nights as we visited Angkor Wat and toured through Cambodia. Traveling with G Adventures.

The hotel room was quite spacious with a wet bathroom. That means no separate tub or shower. The shower is right next to the toilet and everything gets wet.

The A/C worked well and free wifi is available throughout the hotel. There are even computers to use in the lobby. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was pretty good as well: eggs, toast, bacon, fruit, etc. The only difficult part was carrying our bags up 2 flights of stairs. We enjoyed our stay here.

“Good hotel, a short walk from main centre”

The hotel was off the main road and not too far from the main centre for markets and bars/restaurants. We had a big double room, which was all clean, the ensuite was clean, but our shower was cold. Other people on our group said theirs was ok. The hotel offered free wi-fi on each floor, but as our room was at one end of the hotel, the signal wasn't strong enough to the room.
Buffet style breakfast was good, and most people staying are up early to get a full day at Angkor Wat.
We did laundry here and it was all done cheaply and back on time.

“Nice hotel in fairly central location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 May 2011

Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful.

Rooms were of a fairly good standard with wet-room style bathrooms (which occasionally resulted in visits from Geckos!).

Free wi-fi in the rooms and computers available for use (for free).

Breakfast was slightly limited but as long as you're not picky you should find something.

Location is good - not too far from the main town and bars etc, but in a fairly quiet location.

One downfall was the temperature in the reception/breakfast room area - it seemed there was no air conditioning in this area which meant no cool welcome on arrival or during breakfast! Airconditioning in rooms, however, was perfectly fine.

“Simple but not a bad choice”

If you travel on a rather small budget, this is certainly a good place. The positives: Decent location (quiet but central), usually friendly staff and clean rooms. On the downside, however, the staff seems quite often overwhelmed and things can take a bit longer. The breakfast buffet is rather useless but food is cheap anywhere.
