we made the room booking online. as we were arriving early in the morning, we requested to check in as soon as we reach Siem Reap. our email was replied by Mr Chhay Seila (Sales Manager).
the hotel is located close to the airport. we check in at about 9 am, personally attended by Mr Chhay Seila. awesome orange juice was served while waiting. the hotel is pretty masculine with heavy teak woods. the room was spacious.
in the evening, the hot water was not working. we called the room service and within 5 minutes the repair man was already in our bathroom and it was fixed. the water pressure is great. the next morning at 6am we called the room service for an iron. although the receptionist did not know what an iron is (we spelled for her and she still could not figure it out), the call was passed to another receptionist. again, within 5 minutes an iron was sent to our room. the staff are friendly. we hang out at the pool to cool off. one of the staff, called Sarong approached us to chat.
the breakfast buffet was sufficient and decent. the hotel is mainly filled with Korean and Japanese tourist. so don't be surprised to see kimchi served as part of the breakfast buffet menu.
