No doubt, the best hotel in Bankya town. But this doesn't mean it's really a palace. Far from that, it's more a good country hotel. We stayed in winter time and there was no heating in the lobby and in the restaurant. Indeed, we're only two couples in the whole hotel si it wouldn't be reasonable to heat the entire building only for us. But it is supposed to be a palace, after all! The rooms are very large and confortable, well equiped. The restaurant seems to be nice but we saw only a small room where the breakfast was served. The SPA centre is huge and pleasant, but there is no and indoor pool. Otherwise we were told all the water in the hotel and not only in the SPA center is mineral water. Unfortunately because of the low temperatures in the hotel we couldn't enjoy the SPA center except the jakuzzi in which the water was also cold. Otherwise, the hotel is well situated, near downtown of the city which is really very small and quiet. We would recommend to people staying in this hotel to visit a superb small monastery about 15 km away in the direction of village Klissoura. The monastery istelf is nice and the view from the hill is beautiful seeing three mountains. Lovely place.
